Prompt: Printmaking is an art media that has been around for centuries. So has art that is focused around social justice.
For this project, you will be making a piece of artwork that takes a stand for/against something. For this project, your work
has to answer these three questions: What do you believe in? What do you see happening in the world around you?
What could be changed in the world around you?
Tasks:
1. Create a piece of artwork that clearly and thoughtfully demonstrates your idea inspired by social justice.
2. Demonstrate skills and knowledge used in printmaking.
3. Connect art processes and art making skills to issues outside of the classroom.
