RULES FOR SEMIFINALS AND FINAL

To avoid any dispute in the ongoing tournament the committee converges to the opinion that there should be a categorical rule on record containing all possible cases . Rules are as under :
1. It is observed that the spectators are more zealous than the players and are continually advising the players about the move needs to be undertaken. The committee respects the enthusiasm of the spectators but urges not to advise any player about any move so as to maintain the fairness of the game. Nonetheless, they can cheer for their favourites as much as they can. 2. Now onwards there shall be a referee for every match to decide whether the outcome of the dice is legitimate or not. Decision of the referee (under the framework of the rule) shall be supreme in all cases. 3. A toss will be done prior to every match to decide which team to start first. (No preference to any particular colour). 4. In the first move every player will be allowed to roll the dice for three times provided a six doesnt appear before three rolls. 5. A six will enable a piece to come on the active board. 6. An arrow on the LUDO board only indicates the path to be followed by the pieces . It is therefore decided that an arrow wont let a piece go into the home column. It will have to move on its own. 7. If a team is left with only one piece on the active board and the piece has just captured a piece of opponent the formers piece can move corresponding to the number appearing in the extra turn. 8. An extra chance will be given for capturing the opponents piece. 9. An extra chance will be given for making a piece HOME. 10. A duplet can be formed at anywhere on the board. 11. A duplet may only be bifurcated at a star. 12. A single piece can surpass a duplet without any wild restriction. 13. If a piece is about to enter into the home column it cant be deliberately moved to its home yard once again ( By diverting from the usual path).

The committee reserves the right to annex few more rules on its discretion.
