My values and beliefs concerning education are ideals which, I hope, can be reflected in my students and demonstrated throughout

my teaching career. As a future educator, I realize the importance of an effective educator and a high-quality education. My main objective as a future educator is to enlighten my students and help them become more knowledgeable beings in terms of academia, world issues and ethical concerns. I want to encourage my students to become critical thinkers and also apply the knowledge and skills they have learned in my classroom to situations they may come across in the future. With experience, I have come to realize that every child learns differently. There is no right or wrong way of learning, just different ways of learning. However, with differences come challenges that must be assessed in order to accommodate all students learning processes, whether they be academically advanced or delayed. I strive to ensure that my students receive the proper education that they deserve as well as to meet all their needs and interests. I believe that education and inclusion are inalienable rights and my classroom sets sight on equality and equity. With an assortment of interests, skills and diverse educational backgrounds,

differentiated teaching and inclusion are the answers to providing equal educational access to children. Gardners Theory of Multiple Intelligences is a theory I will take into consideration to accommodate the varying learning styles of my students in order to facilitate the learning process because I believe all students needs, interests and learning profiles need to be taken into account so that they may benefit from a high-quality education. As a teacher who recognizes the various learning profiles and styles of students, my students assignments and projects will be modified to suit their needs and abilities, all while trying to help challenge them and reach their full potential. Various teaching strategies and methods will be employed, as every child learns differently and is at a different learning level. Furthermore, my students interests will be taken into consideration with the hopes of making learning more meaningful and resourceful. Assessments will be individually-based and as their teacher, I will assess their abilities. This classroom is a building block that aims to accommodate all students regardless of their academic levels and will help them become conscious of their abilities.

As an educator, I will believe in all of my students. Every student in my classroom will have the opportunity to succeed and grow. I will help nurture their abilities and strive to help them overcome their weaknesses. I believe that educators must be positive role models for their students. In schools, children are surrounded daily by educators whom play a vital role in their social and educational development. Students need to feel safe and must trust their educators. In addition to advocating respect, tolerance, honesty, fairness, empathy, sympathy and equality, teachers must also adhere to these characteristics; teachers must be open-minded individuals who promote tolerance and acceptance amongst their students. Teachers must have the ability to sympathize and empathize with others, including their students. As educators, we must be passionate about our profession; we must truly enjoy what we do in order to see our students flourish, thrive and enjoy their learning experiences. Motivation, encouragement and dedication are required; teachers must push students to their full potential. There will be no nos or can nots in my classroom and my optimism will be relayed to

my students. I believe that communication is a key factor in aiding a teacher to be effective. Teachers need to know how to communicate with their students and their students parents. They need to express their thoughts and ideas clearly, free of any ambiguity. Teachers need to engage in active listening and take into consideration what their students are expressing. Teachers can always learn from their students and I believe that this notion is to be understood if one would want to have an enjoyable and successful teaching career. Teachers need to promote a positive and engaging atmosphere for students. Teachers must be ready and willing to help their students, recognize their efforts and must also be willing to adapt to their needs. I believe that teachers need to grace their students with a warm, friendly and caring demeanour. I value hard work; hard work and perseverance are fundamental for success. I want my students to succeed and be the best person they can be.

It is our duty to educate future generations and our knowledge must be passed down to our students. I believe that teaching is a gift and that it is a very rewarding and privileging profession. I am willing to challenge myself to help inspire students to be the best that they can be and change their outlooks on how they view education.
