    VERB TENSES

    PAST
    PAST CONTINUOUS >Subj + was/were (nt/not) + -ing. >Was/were (nt/) + Subj + (/not) -ing? E.g: She was studying when the phone rang. -Acciones de pasado que se desarrollaron durante un cierto periodo de tiempo.

    PRESENT
    PRESENT CONTINUOUS >Subj + am (not)/[are/is/are] (nt/not) ing. >Am/[Are/Is/Are] (nt/) + Subj + (/not) -ing. E.g: I am studying right now/tomorrow. -Acciones que se estn desarrollando en el momento. -Valor de futuro: planes personales.

    FUTURE
    FUTURE CONTINUOUS >Subj + will (+not/wont) be + ing. > Will (wont/) + Subj + (/not) be + ing? E.g: I will be studying tomorrow night. -Acciones que se estarn desarrollando en algn punto del futuro. E.g: I am going to sutudy. -Predicciones basadas en evidencia. -Planes organizados. -Intenciones personales.

    PAST PERFECT SIMPLE >Subj + had (nt/not) + past participle. -ed (RV) 3C (IV) >Had (nt/)+ Subj + (/not) past participle? E.g: She had studied when you came. -Acciones de pasado que sucedieron antes que otras acciones de pasado.

    PAST SIMPLE >Subj + past simple. -ed (RV) 2C (IV >Did + Subj + inf. E.g: She studied physics. -Acciones de pasado que sucedieron en un punto concreto del pasado.

    PAST PERFECT CONTINUOUS PRESENT PERFECT CONTINUOUS >Subj + had (nt/not) been + -ing. >Subj + have (nt/not) been/has (nt/not) been + -ing. >Had (nt/) + Subj + (/not) been + -ing? >Have (nt/) /has (nt/) + Subj + (/not) been + -ing? E.g: She had been studying when you came. E.g: I have been studying with him.

    -Acciones de pasado que se desarrollaron anteriormente a otra accin de pasado.

    -Acciones que empezaron en el pasado y continan en -Acciones que ocurrieron en un momento pasado el presente. no concreto y que tienen relevancia en el presente. -nfasis en la actividad, no en el resultado. -Acciones que empezaron en el pasado y continan.
