Dear Kindergarten Parents,

Hello! My name is Alexandria Kvenvold and I am a Winona State UniversityRochester student. I am currently a senior in the Elementary Education program. For the next five weeks I will be conducting a portion of my student teaching in your childs classroom with Mrs. Beebe. What this means is that I will be observing, co-teaching with Mrs. Beebe, and doing teaching solo. I am very excited to begin learning and teaching with the Kindergarteners. This will be my first educational teaching placement with Kindergartners, but I have a large background in youth education. I have been in clinical placements for a variety of classrooms ranging in grades one through six. I also have been coaching dance camp and dance teams for kindergarten up to ninth grade for the past four years. In addition, I have done a large amount of volunteering with children ages 5 to 19 for a variety of organization but a few include the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester, Miss Gladiolus Days Organization, and many more.
