De Broglies Equation Wave Particle Duality - The property of particles behaving as waves and the

property of waves behaving as particles as well as waves, all matter e hibits the properties of particles which have mass, but also waves, which transfer energy, it behaves li!e a wave when it travels "propagates# and a particle when it arrives at a surface$ Electrons are known to exist as waves and particles, as they show properties that resemble waves such as interference, diffraction and reflection, but also as particles such as having a charge and mass. This is evident when reflecting electrons against a crystal which has an orderly atomic arrangement and so instead of scattering randomly, the electrons formed an interference pattern like light in the Young's Experiment, this implies electrons behave like waves too.

%ount &ouis de Broglie did e periments with electrons, a particle too prove that they behave li!e waves, by trying to diffract them, since then protons, neutrons and alpha particles have shown wave properties$ de Broglie Equation'
