Burn Face

In this tutorial you will learn how to make a realistic Burn Face in Photoshop. It also covers the basics of texturizing an image. I have three pictures.

Step 1
Open the picture of girl in Photoshop. Also open the texture in Photoshop. ut the texture an! paste it into the picture of girl. Place it on top of her face asshown on figure below.

"ou can cut an! paste by !oing the following# $. %. '. ). Activate the win!ow with the picture which nee!s to be cut. Press trl&A to mark the whole picture. Press trl&( to cut the picture. *elect the win!ow with girl an! press trl&+ to insert the cutte! image.

Step 2
,ow- press the button where the re! arrow is pointing a!! a layer mask. lick once on the layer mask to activate it.

hoose the brush tool- pick a soft brush of $..px. an! start painting with black to erase the area as shown on figure.

Tips: /hen painting black on the mask- you !elete part of the image. Painting white reveals it again. "ou !on0t !elete the picture itselfwhich is the smart thing working with masks.

Step 3

hange the blen!ing mo!e of the texture layer to soft light.

Step 4
Open %n! texture. 1esaturate the image by pressing trl&2. 3epeat step $ to step '# ut 4 paste- place on top of her face- a!! mask.

Step 5
/e will a!! some more touch7up. grey. hoose 8!it9 Fill9 Fill with :.6

Press O;. !isappears.

Pick the !o!ge tool with a brush of %7'px an! exposure aroun! ).7 :.6. 1raw with the !o!ge tool along the e!ges of the burn face. An! use the burn tool in the sha!ows of the woun!. Play aroun! with !ifferent exposures- !ifferent brush sizes an! !ifferent ranges. Scary/Burn Face
