BUSINESS DESCRIPTION
KIMS PRESCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT Kims Preschool is committed to providing learning experiences for each child in preparation for early success and school readiness. Kims Preschool provides a learning environment that supports children to develop the strengths and skills necessary for them to construct their own knowledge and prepare them for their next school environment. VISION STATEMENT Guided by high expectations coupled with the knowledge that all children learn at different levels and speeds, our preschool staff will provide students with a broad range of educational & fun opportunities that will help each child learn to the best of his or her abilities. We will strive to develop literacy skills as well as provide experiences that enrich each child's social, emotional, physical, cognitive, intellectual, and creative abilities. Children will have a safe, wholesome, nurturing educational experience. Children will be in a safe learning environment in which children can solve problems and express their feelings through words, art and other creative areas. Children will be exposed to positive character lessons and experiences, used to help shape them into successful members of a social world. Parents are an integral part of the educational process. In recognition of this important role, parent involvement is actively sought, encouraged and welcomed. Students will enter kindergarten with the necessary skills to promote lifelong learning.

Description of Services All of our teachers are certified elementary or early childhood teachers, with years of experience teaching their own classes in public and/or private-schools. Our teachers are also CPR and First Aid certified. Our teachers are enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and most importantly LOVE teaching the children. We have 3 teachers to 20 children 4-5 years of age per class. This ratio makes for an ideal personalized learning environment. We are in session from 8:30 a.m. to Noon Monday-Friday and follow the same calendar year as Central Local Schools.

Business/Organizational Goals We believe that an outstanding team of teachers and assistants make a school truly wonderful. Our teachers are the HEART of this school. All of the teachers work tirelessly on creating lessons, crafts, activities, and play that enrich each and every child, and magnify their talents. Our teachers are certified teachers who have many years of teaching experience. They love what they do, they love these children, and it shows.

Seasonality of the Market Kims Preschool will operate following the Central Local Schools annual calendar with no sessions during the summer months.

Target Customers Younger families (ages 25-35) that live in and around the Sherwood, Ohio area with children 4-5 years of age.

Competition Tots for Tomorrow Preschool and Fairview Preschool Parents are likely to choose our preschool because we are in session Monday-Friday unlike both of these schools. Tots for Tomorrow Preschool operates only on a MWF schedule and Fairview Preschool operates on a T-F schedule.
