merchandising of IP rights is still an infancy among DEVELOPING COUNTRIES It is important for the FIRMS to focus on the profit making aspect of IP and that IP if properly managed and used, can be a long term sustainable source of income for the company. Through IP awareness programmes every effort is being made to get SMEs to be interested in this area and to influence the SMEs to make IP as a profit centre for the company.
