We'll &ump right in with instructions for making the foundational ingredient for
all cannabis,related cooking endeavors , cannabutter and cannabis cooking oil,
which are not only ma&or time,savers, but they eliminate the taste and texture
of &ust throwing chopped cannabis into any old recipe.
CANNABUTTER
-annabutter is the base ingredient for all kinds of cannabis related cookery.
-annabis butter is very easy to make and it's super effective.
INGREDIENTS

/ 4everal cups of water5it doesn't really matter how much, as it will be
separated in the end6
5This is the basic ratio , 13 grams of butter per gram of cannabis. ou can make
more or less depending on your re!uirements, or how strong you want the stuff
to be.6

DIRECTIONS
1. 7rind up the cannabis until it is very, very fine , far finer than if you were
going to smoke it. ou want to turn it into a fine powder, and an electric or
manual coffee grinder is probably the best tool for the &ob5or you could &ust put
in a little elbow grease with a mortar and pestle.6
1. 8eat the water in a frying pan or saucepan on the hob, then melt the butter
on a medium to low heat. 9nce it has completely melted, add the cannabis
powder, stir it in and then turn it down to a very low heat.
:. ;eep stirring it5be careful that the butter doesn't burn.6. )eel free to en&oy
the fumes.
<. -ook it on a low heat for between two to three hours, depending on how
strong you want it to be, then carefully strain the mixture into a &ug or
&ar5cheesecloth works well6, seal it up, and stick it in the fridge. = layer of butter
will soon solidify above the dirty water. >eel away the butter and throw away the
water. The butter is now ready to be used as you see fit.
Now you can use any recipe that re!uires butter and substitute it for your
cannabis butter to make some delicious treats.

CANNABIS COOKING OIL
The second ma&or ingredient used in various recipes...
INGREDIENTS

/ 9ne o@ of mari&uana nuggets or a 1$< pound brick weed 5or as much trim
as you can fit in there.6
/ 1 steel or metal strainer 5to filter out the oil6
/ 1 funnel will fit in the -anola bottle
DIRECTIONS
1. Take the bottle of canola oil and poor the whole bottle into the pot.
1. The the stove on and put it on medium, place the pot on the stove and keep
it on there till it is hot, A9 N9T %?T B9#%.
:. Now take the mari&uana $ shake crumble it up into small bits, put all this into

your pot.
<. Now every ten minutes or so stir the pot for the next two hours, the trick is
not to let it boil over &ust to keep it hot. #f it starts to boil &ust lift the pot up and
let it cool down a bit * turn your heat down a bit. 9nce or twice of this you will
find the exact heat. 5#f you let it boil over the oil will turn black and it will taste
like crap , &ust keep stirring and you will be fine.6
2. ;eep doing this for about two hours, after a bit the oil might turn a little bit
green and brown. This is all normal, and means that the resin extraction is
working properly.
C. =fter two hours take the pot off the burner and let it cool for about thirty
minutes. Then take the pot and pour the oil through that metal strainer. Ao this
a couple times to make sure no leaf bits or anything ends up in the final
product.
D. %=4T 4T?>, you're almost there, take the filtered oil and funnel the final
product into the canola oil.
STORAGE
#t's the same as regular cooking oil but try to keep out of light as the light will
degrade some of the T8-. ou can place it in any regular closet or cupboard,
&ust don't get the two mixed up or and tell others or they're in for a surprise.

PREPARING THE CANNA MILK

pan. Turn on 4tove
1. =dd Trim or Bud to the Gilk. ;eep it between 123) , 1D3). 4immer for 13 to
:3 minutes stirring constantly. Gilk will burn if you wait too long between stirs.

:. 4train milk into a glass or metal bowl to let cool some. ou now have
delicious -anna Gilk. 4tore it in the refrigerator.
DIRECTIONS
1. Gix -anna Gilk, 4ugar, 8eavy -ream, Fanilla, and >ie )illing 59ptional
-innamon and 1 drops of blue$purple food coloring for color6 in a large bowl
and mix thoroughly.
1. Now pour Gixture into the #cecream maker >an. >lace %id on #cecream Gaker

:. )ollow the instructions that came with the #cecream maker. %ayer ice and
rock salt around the pan like so. %et it run for :3 minutes to an hour. =bout
halfway through dump all the ice and rock salt5now probably water6 and put
fresh ice$rock salt back in.
ou need to put it into the free@er or pack it back into ice$rocksalt for :,C hrs to
harden it up a little. This will not free@e solid. Fery soft and 4T"9N7. 7et high
and kill the munchies in one move. >erfect for the la@y stoner.

CANNABIS TINCTURE (COLD METHOD)
INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS
ou will need 1 ounce of cannabis for every pint of ethanol. 4ome good spirits
to use would be ?verclear, 121 "um, or White %ightning due to the high proof.
ou want an alcohol with J2K ethanol, or a 1J3,proof alcohol to obtain the best
results. The night before you make this, leave your bud close the &ar and shake
for 2 minutes, then return to free@er. -ontinue to agitate the mixture every few
hours with refree@ing. -ontinue this process anywhere from : days to J weeks,
however patient you are really. "emember, the longer the better. When you are
done with that process, pour the li!uid through cheesecloth. ou can save the
LballM of cheesecloth for topical use, or run it through a coffee filter. Gake sure
to s!uee@e any remaining li!uid out. ou might want to wear gloves during this
process, as the solution might be pretty strong. The color of your final product is

dependent on what percent ethanol you used. #f you used a J2K ethanol
solution, your tincture should be pale green to golden. #f you used 121 rum, it
should be an amber color. #f your tincture is a dark green that means excess
plant material is present. This does not affect the potency though+ it &ust means
it wonOt taste very good. #tOs a good idea to add some flavor extracts, like vanilla
or raspberry, to change the taste of your tincture.
NOTES
Gaking a tincture via the cold method preserves the integrity of cannabinoids.
=lways use the best !uality cannabis for the best results. our cannabis should
be completely dry and mold free.
CANNABIS TINCTURE (WARM METHOD)
INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS
>lace the cannabis and ethanol in a large glass Gason &ar. 4hake at least once a
day. >lace the &ar in a brown paper bag. %eave in a warm spot, like near the
window, for :3,C3 days. The mixture should turn a very dark green. 4train with
a cheesecloth like in the cold method, making sure to s!uee@e any excess li!uid.
This tincture has a nasty taste, but it is very powerful. #t may upset fragile
stomachs. ou should take the tincture orally in cranberry &uice or coffee with
sugar. 4tore your tincture in a light,blocking glass &ar in a cool, dry place 5like
the refrigerator or free@er6. ou can keep the cheesecloth in the free@er as well
and apply it over an area of the skin for a few minutes with gentle rubbing.
NOTES
The main difference between this method and the cold method is the
preparation of materials. %ight must be avoided also.

CANNABIS ELIXIR
INGREDIENTS

>lace the tincture in a double boiler over an electric heat source. "educe the
solution by half. 9nce reduce, add 1$1 the remaining volume of tincture in
honey along with the vitamin ? capsules 5e.g. if you have 1 !uarts of tincture
after reduction, you would add 1 !uart honey6. -ontinue to reduce the volume
with constant stirring until you have nearly boiled it down to the original volume
of syrup you began with. %et cool, and store in a lightproof glass in the
refrigerator.
NOTES
The dosage should be between a teaspoon and a couple tablespoons. ou can
customi@e your elixirs by adding different herbs, like adding syrup of ?lderberry
makes an effective treatment for influen@a+ or adding ;ava can provide greater
pain control and sedation. With a little study in herbal medicine, you can
customi@e your blends for any ailment. )or the flu, use cannabis tincture with
?lderberry and -atOs -law.

MAGIC TINCTURE
INGREDIENTS

#n a small saucepan, heat honey over low heat. Ao not let the honey foam over.
Gix in the powdered cannabis, and while stirring slowly add the Fodka so the
texture stays in a li!uid form, not a solid sticky mass. -ontinue to cook over low
heat for :3 minutes. >our into a &ar and cover, let sit in the refrigerator until
cool.
NOTES
Take a teaspoon every 12 minutes until you figure out a LdoseM that is good for
you.
HOT BUTTERED BLAST
INGREDIENTS
/ 1$N pound Butter
/ 1$1 ounce cannabis
/ N ounces Fodka

DIRECTIONS
#n a medium saucepan, melt 1$N pound of butter over medium heat. =dd the
cannabis, which should be ground up into a fine powder. =dd the Fodka and
bring the mixture to a boil, stirring the entire time. 9nce boiling, reduce to
medium,low heat and let sit for 13,:3 minutes, or overnight. 4train the mixture
and let cool to room temperature. =dd honey to taste, and pour into a glass.

trip of a half ounce. 4ubstitute Fodka with ?verclear for a stronger kick.
CANNAMELON
INGREDIENTS
/ 1 large Watermelon

/ 1$2 liter Fodka
DIRECTIONS:
7rind the cannabis to a fine powder. >ut the cannabis in a bottle of Fodka, and
cover the top of the bottle with cheesecloth and a rubber band. -ut a hole in
the watermelon so you can insert the top of the bottle. >ut the bottle in the hole
and let sit in the refrigerator overnight.

This one is great for picnics.
GREEN DREAM
INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS:
7rind the cannabis to a fine powder. >ut into bottle of vodka and let sit for 1,13

the fudge drops to 113 degrees, use a big spoon and stir vigorously for at least

are mixed with water vapor from the water bath and vented out the fan. This
combined with the fact that you are trying not to boil the ethanol makes the

2. 4train and store. When you are finished with the extraction you will be left
with about 1o@ of green dragon tincture after you have strained the extract.
Notice that one ounce of the alcohol has evaporated. 4ee the tips below for a
good way to strain the tincture.
= standard eyedropper will transfer about 1ml 5or 1 gram6 of li!uid. There are
1J milliliters in one ounce. 4o you should end up with about :3 or so full

based on the strength of the starting material, the amount of alcohol you boil

The green dragon should be a greenish,brown color 5more brown than green6.
#f it is emerald green and smells like grass 5from the cholorphyll6, it will be
weak. ?merald green indicates that the pre,baking was not sufficient. The 7A

When you are done extracting you will have one ounce5or so6 of 7reen Aragon.
But it is mixed up with the 1$N o@ of spent plant material. 8ere is how # recover
the maximum amount of my extract.
)irst, you could strain it through a regular kitchen mesh strainer. Ese the back of
a spoon to force out as much 7reen Aragon as possible.
Next use a garlic press to s!uee@e the remaining leaves. Gy preference is a Pylis
7arlic >ress because it has a plunger mechanism, but any press should do. ou
then would put the s!uee@ings into the plunger in batches, and s!uee@e the
holy 7reen Aragon alchemical concoction out of it. This trick will increase your
overall recovery by about 12K.

the recommended dosage, any more may be more than you bargained for. ou
