Mission: To equip primary and secondary responders with knowledge and skills to address the needs of at-risk adult crime victims in Georgia as part of a multi-disciplinary team, thus advancing public safety. Georgia is home to approximately 2.5 million at-risk adults. Sheriffs Office Training Center Myers Building 2098 Greenland Road, Blythe, GA 30805 August 26 & 27, 2014 8:30 AM to 5 PM Host: Henry Co. Police Department Location: 120 Henry Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253 (This class is full) The class is open to law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, EMS, and social services agencies that respond to the abuse, neglect, and exploitation of at-risk adults. This training is not for the general public. 16 hours POST credit, 16 hours EMS credit, 12 hours CLE Officers must attend both days to receive POST credit There is no charge for the training.
