Title : Project Demonstration and Planning

Shared Roles
• Brainstorm ideas around the Beatitude and
how it could be creatively depicted

• Research meaning of Beatitude you are


assigned

• Use the storyboard template to plan your


sequence – must align with script

• Write the script containing dialogue, audio


effects (eg. door knock), and character
expressions.

Student assigned roles (may be shared)


Set & prop design\
• Get a box as your stage
• Check dimensions in relation to the webcam on
your laptop to obtain the optimum shot
• Decorate the stage (paint, coloured paper, textas)
• Gather materials for props – be creative!! Eg. Dice
for walls, Pipe cleaner trees, toys from home,
stones, photo as a background
• Supply any supportive structures eg. sticky tape

Camera woman / Lighting –


• Minimise movement of camera and obtain
consistent shots
• Ensure the privacy of group members is maintained
– no shots of faces/people
• Supply torch for lighting
• Ensure SMP project is backed up

Sound – Voice over


• Test audio in the initial stages of the project
• Ensure voice quality/levels (volume) are maintained
throughout the project
• Be mindful of the class and negotiate an appropriate
time to record your voice overs
• Allow each group member to have a speaking role

Editor
• Respect and Accept – all opinions are valued and
judgments applied as to the best way forward.
• Ensure time limit is adhered to – Minimum of 1
minute, Maximum of 2 minutes

Liaison
• Negotiator within the group, with other groups and
facilitator
• Mediate any differences which may arise
(S) Students using their toy to practise stop motion – 20 minutes.

Save the video.

(S) Show and tell – class to demonstrate 3 or 4 examples.
