Azreen does not believe the rumours. She tries her best to find out the truth about her sisters death. She thinks that it is not logical for a person to spill white blood. Everybody knows Puan Normala is a gossipmonger and tells tales without any proof. When Azreen sees the latex on her fathers machete, she recalls what the villagers has said about the white blood. She puts two and two together. The white blood is actually the latex from the rubber plantation. The Old Lady has said that the death of Madhuri is not an accident. She finally realised that her father is the murderer. Azreen never allows herself to be influenced by gossip. In fact, she finally stands her ground. This is why we respect her.
