Parametric Test If the information about the population is completely known by means of its parameters then the statistical test is called parametric test Eg:- t-test, f-test, z-test, one way ANO A Non-Parametric Test If there e is no knowledge about the population or parameter, but it is still re!uired to test the hypothesis of the population" #hen it is called non-parametric test" Eg:- $ann-%hitney , &ruskal '%allis test, Parametric: based on distributions and assumptions Non-parametric: distribution free and less assumptions
