Event Summary
In the Pictures with Santa event were offering the opportunity for customers and staff to have their photos taken with Santa.This event took place before Christmas break and it lasted 8 days. We ran the event in the Wolf Den to make make it more convenient for the customers and staff. These customers could have their pictures taken for a low price. Students also had an opportunity to also buy their class photo.We also tried having a Christmas atmosphere throughout the store and display.

Goals
Our goal was to make $100 in profit and create interaction with the customers in the store.

Target Market
Our target market was Christian, honest, 17 year old girls that like to listen to music and frequently go to to the Wolf Den.

Budget

SWOT Analysis
Strengths- way it looks, popularity of Christmas, inviting and fun Santa, be polite and respectful. Weaknesses- willing to buy, promotion. Opportunity- quick turn around time, promotion, class pictures, group of friends. Threats- Money being spent on food.

For the Pictures with Santa Event,we used social media websites to notify students and staff that we were holding the event in the Wolf Den.

We didnt post the pictures to Instagram because if we added them, the students wouldnt have purchased the pictures. They would have just gotten them online.

Shoppers Participating
During the Pictures with Santa promotion, various groups of people, including classes took pictures with Santa.

Promotion Evaluation
Our goal was to make $100 in profit, but our profit was not met because there was DECA leadership conference and there was a lot of other conflicting events going on at the time. We had time limitations and many of the employees were busy with DECA. It failed because we had too many limitations and not enough interest. We could have improved it by planning extra days and having a back up plan just in case something went wrong.
