Welcome Back! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter and a restful vacation. Your children look rested and ready to push through the next few weeks. Can you believe there is only 6 weeks left of 3rd grade. Its amazing how quickly the time has passed. Here are a few reminders for the week Talent Show Auditions this Tuesday and Wednesday afterschool from 3pm.- 5pm. May Crowning is this Thursday. Please join us at 7pm for mass. Friday is a regular school day.

Heres what going on in 3rd grade this week . This week we will read a story called A Story A Story. This is an African folktale about how a clever man bought all the worlds stories from the legendary Sky God and brought them to earth. We will also read Oral History, an article about History that is passed on by word-of-mouth instead of being there was writing. We will learn how this was the way information was passed on before there was writing, but is still thriving today. We will also continue to read Charlottes Web in our Literature Circles. In Math we will.. Add Money Amounts to $99,999.00 Write Checks for Money Amounts to $99,999.00 Act out, Draw Pictures, and Writing Number Sentences for Division Story Problems Write Number Sentences for Division Story Problems Multiply a Multiple of 10, 100, 1,0000 by a Single-Digit Number Multiply Facts of 9 Solve Problems by Making it Simpler Make a Table to Solve a Problem In Science we will conclude our unit on Energy.
