Many investors ask help for criminal profilers to close a case or a cold case. The Term "profiling" came from the public largely due to the movies "The Silence Of The Lambs" and the TV show "Profiler." But the FBI calls it "criminal investigative analysis." The description of the criminals can include psychological variables such as personality traits, psychopathologies and behavior patterns, as well as demographic variables such as age, race or geographic location. And Investigators use profiling to narrow down suspects. While Criminal profilers look at the evidence they will ask themselves. What fantasy or path, or both? What triggered the murderer to act some days and not both? What type of victim did the murder select? What was the method and manner of the murder? Did the murder and body disposal take place all at once, or multiple scenes? Is the murderer trying to inject himself into the investigation? Another kind of profiling is Investigative Psychology, the goal of it is like profiling, is to infer characteristics of a criminal based on his or her behavior during the crime. Organized behaviors, like positioning or concealing victim's body are the "core variables" that tend to show up most frequently. The psychology-law enforcement relationships, among those in the field, have the tension between law enforcement and psychology still exists. The difference is really a matter of the FBI being more oriented towards investigative experience. And it's important to remember that we're all working together toward the same thing. I believe this confined my career choice because I want to be a part of the enforcement and I want to help cold cases become closed cases, for the loved ones to finally have a answer.
