What Now!

First this is a model of a real company which means you no longer have someone to tell you what to do every step of the way although I will do my best. We have over 25 employees and every one of you need to work with your project manager, division manager, and myself to map out your path for the class. Before you begin your journey you may want to look inward and ask yourself the following questions. 1. What technical knowledge would I like to take away from the class? 2. What can I contribute to the class (they may be the same)? 3. How much time and effort do I want to put into the class and based on this what grade should I receive? Everyone will learn the course objectives (see Syllabus) so for now focus on your personal goals. So you have signed the paperwork and are an employee of the Robot Company. Welcome aboard Now what? Class/Lab Section o Meet with me to go over your cover letter/resume and answers to the three questions (see previous bullet) o If you are not a Division or Project Manager you need to find your place(s) in the matrix. If you have been pre-assigned a location in the matrix, those represent my recommendations. These assignments may be changed over the course of your meeting with me and discussions with the Division and Project Managers. o Meet o When you meet with your Project and Line Manager(s) Talk about how you can help the Project and Division and the support you will need (technical skills you would like to learn).
