Here I have designed an individualised lesson plan for a child with autism. Assignment details: "In response to a presented case study you will be required to: Part A: identify the legislation, policies, frameworks and principles underlying the development of Individual Learning Plans and the implications for a school/ preschool setting. Part B: develop an Individual Learning Plan for the presented case, appropriate to the setting and needs of the child."

Setting individualised goals short term, medium term and long term for Jack shows that I have taken into account his characteristics, what implications these have for his learning, and see him as an individual student with individual needs. These individual goals will help him to participate in the regular schooling system and learn alongside others. The strategies for achieving Jack's goals have been adapted for his benet.
