The most valuable lesson that I learned from this article is that it is important to evaluate your lessons and their effectiveness in student learning and achievement. Too often, we get comfortable with a few tried and true strategies and neglect to evaluate if theyre still helping students to progress. By using the model as a guide, teachers can more easily hold themselves accountable for differentiating instruction and incorporating new effective strategies.
