THE WILL OF GOD

1. THE PROVIDENTIAL WILL OF GOD

THINGS GOD’S GOING TO DO NO MATTER WHAT

But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law,
to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. Galatians 4:4-
5

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in
him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from
his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small,
standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is
the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in
the books.
The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that
were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done.
Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second
death.
If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of
fire.
Revelation 20:11-15

2. THE MORAL WILL OF GOD

THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD

It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality;
1 Thessalonians 4:3

For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men.
1 Peter 2:15
3. THE PERSONAL WILL OF GOD

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-
6
