The family calling her sugar daddy and telling him to stay away 4. Dying as loudly as she can 2 examples to show and explain In the show, Allison does act as though she wants to die. This is because of her self-mutilation to her body and her lack of care to the consequences that inhalants may cause. 5. No such thing as happy why? Allison probably thinks there is no such thing as happy because she blames her whole life and the situation with her parents on herself, which allows no positivity in her life. 6. Relate back power and control 2 examples This episode of Intervention shows many examples of power and control. It shows how drug addiction has the power to take over ones life. It also showed how watching a loved one suffer can take over ones life as well. Allisons family only wanted the best for her and would take any measure to do so. For example they took control over her by taking away things she loves, which were her cats. 7. Prediction: I believe that Allison did get better and did not go back to the inhalants. I believe so because she had her mother and sisters that she talked to every week which would allow them to grow closer together. I also believe the rehabilitation center allows for a lot of self-reflection and allows a drug addict to have a clear mind which would help Allison realize everything she was doing was wrong.
