Roller-compacted concrete (RCC) is an economical pavement alternative to traditional concrete. This thesis examines the compressive strength of RCC pavement over time and analyzes its cost viability compared to other pavement options. Testing of RCC cylinders shows that compressive strength increases significantly in the first 28 days before leveling off. A cost-benefit analysis determines that while initial costs of RCC are higher than asphalt, its longer design life and lower maintenance requirements make it the more economical choice over time.
