Students will turn in Quick Lab document as exit ticket that will be returned to them next class period.

Modeling Succession Observation Day 2 (5 min), Workshop on Energy flow in Closed Ecosystem. Group Jigsaw document (30 min), Class discussion & notebook report: Energy flow in terrestrial closed ecosystem (10 min), Terrestrial Closed Ecosystem Observation 3 Exit Ticket, Brainstorm ideas for project flow of energy (5 min), Notebooks will be checked P R O J E C T W E E K T W O Notes: Focus on project increases this week; students are given a greater amount of autonomy. I will record the pH levels for the days students are not in the classroom. Modeling Succession Observation Day 6 (5 min), Groups conduct research on animal (40 min), A list of the animals relationships in the ecosystems will be compiled (Resources will be provided) Terrestrial Closed Ecosystem Observation 4 Exit Ticket (5 min)
Field trip to InSync Exotics Animal Sanctuary.
Students will complete part of their animal research at the location through the tours and zoologists and animal keepers.
At the end of the day, students will receive a copy of the project rubric.
