Guys vs. Girls
- Break move desks/tables to opposite sides of the room. Have all of the girls sit on one
side and all of the boys sit on the other side.
- As the teacher explain that we will be doing an open discussion where students are
allowed to voice their opinion (appropriately) about various issues. Begin to ask a series
of questions regarding topics about males/females.
- Start with simple questions such as what are some stereotypes about males/females?
and what dont males/females like about males/females? (5 min) then try to move into
more topic oriented questions
o What do girls think when guys talk about how a girl dresses?
o What do guys think when a girl dresses a certain way?
o What might a guy think if he saw a girl at.
o What are some non-verbal things a guy might do that shows hes interested in
you?
- Let the students discuss various issues for 10-15 minutes, then take control of the class
for a discussion based lecture on sexual health and safety.
o Topics:
Dress what are you advertising?
Who are you with?
How can non-verbal and verbal communication affect you?
What role can alcohol and drugs play?

- Ultimately your goal is to have the opposing gender have a better understanding of
how the other thinks in regards to various sexual issues
