Get active as you see t and do so in tune with nature. The fascinating land-
scape in the heart of the magnicent mountain backdrop will tempt you to try
something new and to discover nature on your own enjoyable adventure.
A dense network of well-built hiking trails and themed trails makes it easy to
follow the calling of the natural landscape. The interactive leisure map online at
www.inzell.de/en/index allows you to select and print out walks and routes up
and down the mountains.
On a journey of discovery on the Bergwald trail, measuring how far animals can
jump; going back to the time of the mammoths with the Moor Experience Trail;
or cycling across the moors to discover the great diversity of the landscape.
Meanwhile, the Alpaca Walk focuses on the animals, whilst the gentle Almtour
takes you past bubbling brooks. In an alpine hut you can enjoy a hearty Brotzeit
snack with fresh milk and home-made cheese, and a fabulous view. Hurray for
holidays! Time for ourselves!
And with the Inzell Card plus you can experience lots of holiday outings in Inzell
and the Chiemgau free of charge: swimming, soccergolf, tennis, cable cars, bike
hire and more.
Walking in the Chiemgau means walking on three levels. From the peaks to
the pristine alpine meadows to Chiemgaus alpine uplands. The summit of
Chiemgaus Hausberg Mountain offers everything that ambitious walkers and
mountain-lovers could imagine. Alongside ascents that require a certain level
of hiking experience, you also have the option of reaching the summit in great
comfort with a cable car. It doesnt matter how you choose to reach the top,
once there you can enjoy breathtaking views, spanning from Lake Chiemsee to
the Central Alps.
The alpine huts are as much a part of our mountains as the peaks, and for some,
they are the real destination. You can leave all thoughts of the everyday behind
you here. The alpine huts in Chiemgau are just as you would expect: traditio-
nal and rustic; cosy and wonderful. The alpine uplands around Lake Chiemsee
impress with their areas of pristine nature and unforgettable experiences in
the moors and fenlands.
In Ruhpolding, walking simply means doing something good for your body
and soul. An abundance of movement, but movement in line with your le-
vel of tness everyone can nd their own way to suit their own tempo
in Ruhpolding. The diversity of the 240 kilometres of walking, hiking and
mountain trails is almost endless.
A relaxed walk in the area known locally as Little Canada with its three
lakes is a particularly popular activity. The three lakes of Ldensee,
Mittersee und Weitsee nestle up against each other like pearls on a chain.
During the summer months, the nature reserve is not just a natural gem;
it is also a great place to nd some natural refreshment by taking a dip in
one of the lakes.
Meanwhile, the blue and white sky is a little closer from the alpine moun-
tain pastures. Life here is simple simply wonderful! Along sunny alpine
paths, past crystal-clear mountain streams (drinking water quality!) and
untouched plant habitats, you arrive in a true paradise of the most char-
ming alpine region, with the aroma of hearty Brotzeit in the air. Cheeky
farmers wives present locally produced Bavarian delicacies. And they
taste excellent!
Experience the Bavarian charm of this sporty family-friendly village.
Inzell is situated between Munich and Salzburg, and not far from Lake Chiemsee.
Situated in southeast Bavaria and just a one-hour drive from Munich and 30 minutes from Salzburg,
the Chiemgau region invites you to go walking.
The holiday town of Ruhpolding is nestled in the Bavarian Alps, not far from Salzburg and Munich.
The resort offers a wide range of leisure activities in the heart of a wildly romantic natural landscape
365 days a year. The authentic lifestyle of the locals is reected in their costumes, which they wear with pride.

The Alpenwelt Karwendel alpine holiday region, comprising the towns
Mittenwald, Krn and Wallgau, is situated in Southern Bavaria, approxi-
mately 100 kmsouth of Munich and directly on the Austrian border.
The majestic rock formations of the Zahmer Kaiser and the Wilder
Kaiser crown one of the most picturesque and attractive mountain
regions in Upper Bavaria, and give the holiday region on the German-
Austrian border its name: Kaiser-Reich.
The Alpenwelt Karwendel alpine holiday region with the towns Mitten-
wald, Krn and Wallgau is home to approx. 700 km of hiking trails co-
vering all levels of difculty: From gentle hiking trails and promenades,
to more demanding tours, climbing tours and even multi-day trips with
overnight stay in traditional alpine huts there is something for everyone
here. Varied thematic walks including the Leutascher Geisterklamm,
the Isar nature trail or even the Magdalena Neuner panoramic trail are
also a great option for families with children. Two cable cars, a chair lift
on the Kranzberg Mountain and a gondola lift on the Karwendel shorten
the routes. Numerous huts invite you to celebrate the end of your walk
with a hearty snack or Brotzeit. In addition, the Alpenwelt Karwendel
is also home to the largest protected area within the Eastern Alps the
famous Buckelwiesen.
Flat and lightly undulating walks and hiking trails by rivers and lakes,
plus alpine upland hills and mountains for sporty adventures.
Measuring 1,634 metres in height, the Brnnstein may not be the tallest
mountain in the Kaiser-Reich, but it is one of the most popular. The
Wildbarren (1,448 m) and the Groe Traithen (1,852 m) also fascinate
visitors with their spectacular views of rich green valleys, sky-blue lakes
and rugged rock faces.
You can enjoy lots of gentle walks here too: For example, through Gieen-
bach ravine, which is cut deep into the rock, or to theTatzlwurmwaterfalls.
The leisure region of Hocheck has plenty to offer with its summer to-
boggan run, forest rope courses, the Sagenweg trail and the Oberaudorf
Flieger zip lines. Thrills and adventures are guaranteed!
