7& Maintain a c$ose VH8 #atch on Channe$ 17 and other appropriate VH8 channe$s for the
na(igation area
9& Ad(ise the Dut" 0ngineer to %eep engine read" for immediate manoeu(re if not A4*
8& Proceed at a Safe speed according to C!+.01
-& Start the second steering motor if necessar" /hand steering if necessar"2
10& Ad:ust e$ectric production for manoeu(ring conditions and according to engine
instructions&

12& Ma%e sure that the 1PS and the na(igation aids are operating correct$"
13& Start the echo sounder if necessar"
