Personal Development, Health and Physical Education
is an integral area, where students are exposed to the understanding and development of themselves, and also their choices. This is a vital aspect for them to live healthy and safe futures. Creating awareness for students to be able to make safe and healthy choices in life and also to be able to integrate it within their lifestyle. PDHPE looks at the aspects of encouraging students to be able to interact, communicate, using problem solving, and movement in various ways. Aim Provides guidance and decision making skills for all aspects. Promotes knowledge and understanding of their body and their surroundings. It also informs and guides students to maintain and create a healthy lifestyle.
PDH (Personal Development and Health) It allows students to be encouraged to actively participate in a positive manner to help keep a balanced physical healthy lifestyle.
This helps students to understand the vital necessity of physical activity and the lifelong benefits, through the skills they gain.
PE (Physical Education) By assisting and creating awareness for students in making healthy lifestyle choices allows them to be better prepared and informed with the decisions they make.
It also promotes safe learning and living environments for themselves and others around them. Students are taught and guided to make and recognise strategies to maintain their safety.
