To prepare for the more extended research required for final essay, youll prepare an annotated bibliography of

6-8 information sources, all of which relate to your topic.


Your annotated bibliography will begin with your tentatie thesis statement !which may ery well change oer

goal of promoting its product, the &emory'ifter. 5espite a couple of good diagrams and some useful
information, the ma"ority of the site is dedicated to the products they proide. There is a lin, for contacting the
site creators but it doesnt hae any information other than a phone number and email address. There is no
page with 6(bout 3s7 information and no references are proided for the information on memory and learning.

This article discusses three experiments that were conducted by the authors exploring the role of change
blindness as it occurs with attended ob"ects + that is, the ob"ect they were paying attention to. The article
includes discussion of the roles of memory and isual perception on detecting change in a scene, photographic
lineup, and een with a conersation partner. 0ritten for a scholarly audience, the article presents some
difficulty but, oerall, is manageable for the general educated person. The authors, affiliated with Ient Btate

bibliography. The summary and general discussion proided a useful oeriew of the conclusions drawn by
the authors and could be used in the research paper to support a conclusion.
