Opinion: A Bleak Future for Mauritius

People with strong convictions and who would have governed the country with honesty and sincerity
have not gathered enough public recognition to get voted into government.
Existing political parties have become known for dishonesty and cheating the country and population.
Opposition court government so that each party does not want to go strongly against other partys
wrongdoings.
The population and the country suffer.
Latest example: prorogation of the national assembly for reasons not defined by the constitution.
Opposition party has not raise its voice against; on the contrary, it seems to be supporting government
when it states that other governments have done it in the past, thereby failing in its mission as
watchdog.
