Throughout the course of this semester 7 have had the opportunity to work with two different
groups. and have taken two different roles within the group. 7 feel that during this class 7 have
improved my abilities to effectively work within a group to reach a common goal. 4uring the 0&7
pro;ect 7 was the main leader of the group. taking on most of the workload and directing others in
the group on what to do. what needed to be done. and at some points fi-ing mistakes. <ith my
7nvasive 0pecies group we were all strong leaders and workers which was different for me. 7 took
more of a back seat in this pro;ect and did the work that was assigned to me along with
collaborating with my partners instead of taking on everything. 7t was nice to be able to work in a

group where we were all driven towards a common goal of making the best possible lesson without
feeling like 7 was taking up other peoples slack.

=y initial goal was to e-pand my knowledge of environmental health issues through active
participation in this class. and 7 feel like 7 greatly achieved this goal. 6ver the course of this
semester 7 have grown more knowledgeable in topics of environmental health. The biggest gain 7
have noticed is my ability to access information and resources that 7 can use in the future to build
more lessons related to environmental health. This also met my second goal which was to build
upon my teaching resources portfolio so that 7 can better educate and serve my future students.
