Romeo and Juliet
Reading the book and watching the movie, did it ever come to mind that any of the
characters that there was to blame for what had happened and were there any
characters in particular that were not to blame for what had happened? ,if so I chose
Friar Laurence and Mercutio. But the person someone may say that is not to blame is
Juliet. Friar went along with with everything , and Romeo and Juliet getting married.
Mercutio is to be blamed because he started the fight between him and Tybalt.

The first person I blame is Friar laurence. I blame Friar Laurence because he went
along with the whole thing and he let Romeo and Juliet get married, even though they
are enemies from separate houses. In act 2 scene 3 , this quote be plain, good son,
and homely in thy drift. Riddling confession finds but riddling shift, is where Friar
laurence is agreeing to let Juliet and Romeo get married. Friar Laurence should have
known better than to let them two fall deeply in love and let them marry each other
because it was against the rules. And because Juliet is a capulet and Romeo is a
Montague.

The second person to blame is Mercutio. Mercutio had basically started the fight
between him and Tybalt. And after Tybalt started to walk away from Mercutio he had
said something to Tybalt. In act 3 scene 1, the quote And but one word with one of us?
couple it with something make it a word and a blow. This quote is where Mercutio end
up fighting and Mercutio gets stabbed and killed by Tybalt. At this part in the scene Both
of them get into an argument and Tybalt kept provoking mercutio so that had fought and
Mercutio ended up dying. Because of this Mercutio is someone to blame for him dying
as well as Tybalt.

The person i chose not to blame is Juliet. Juliet had no idea that the son of Montague
was gonna show up at the party that took place in the Capulets house. In act 5 scene 1
Good pilgrim you do wrong your hand too much which mannerly devotion.This is the
scene where Romeo and juliet first meet. At the party Juliet didnt know what to think.
She also didnt know who Romeo was at all and When romeo ended up showing up at
her house she was shocked. So when after the party and Juliet went home and Romeo
found her room and they talked. Juliet and Romeo instantly fell in love, and decided
they would get married the following day.

Watching and reading Romeo and Juliet , did it ever come to mind that any of the
characters were to blame for what had happened, and was there any character in
particular that wasnt to blame for any of the deaths that were caused? Friar Laurence
at first hesitated when Romeo came and asked if he can marry him and Juliet. When
Mercutio and Tybalt were arguing first Tybalt came up to Mercutio looking for Romeo
but Mercutio said something that started and escalated the whole fight. In conclusion
,one may say that those who are to blame should be punished.
