SCENE ONE
SETTIING: A HOTEL FOR FAIRYTALE PEOPLE
TIME: MODERN DAY TWIST ON PLOT
(Lights shine on two
NARRATORS that sit on a
stool, in front of the
CURTAINS, which are closed at
the moment.)

NARRATOR 1:
This is the story or which you may call a
continuation of fairytales of Pinocchio,
Ginger Bread Man, Prince and the Frog,
Peter Pan, and more, but this is the story
of Pinocchios future.
NARRATOR 2:
This playwright was created after the
author couldnt find out what to do with a
plot within this script, so be prepared to
witness an extraordinary story.
NARRATOR 1:
We are about show you the beginning of
this continuation. Let the story begin.

(The CURTAINS open. The STAGE
is dark. No light has shined
on it. NARRATORS 1 & 2 pull
out a big book. The lights
appear on both the NARRATORS
and STAGE to reveal a wooden
cabin. It shows a window in
the back with a wooden, round
table upstage. A cellphone is
on the table. A bed is beside
the table. A person is
sleeping.)
NARRATOR 1:
It was modern day than most fairytales can
say, but the characteristics were the
same. Fairytales shined away from specific
mortals. That way they could keep away
their identities.
NARRATOR 2:
But this was the tale of famous fairytales
under one roof, based on a specific,
depressing day. An adult Pinocchio slept
inside his comfy cabin which stayed inside
the deep woods.
(PINOCCHIO wakes up out of
his bed, yawning. He gets up,
then walks toward his table.)
NARRATOR 1:
Pinocchio received a message from his
human brothers, stating that a funeral
would be held on a Sunday morning.
(PINOCCHIO sits down on the couch, with his head in his
hands. Then, a knock is heard on the wooden door. PINOCCHIO
walks over toward the door, then opens it. A man in a
trench coat walks over to PINOCCHIO.)
MAN:
Its been about six months since I saw
you, Woody.
(They both sit on the leather

couch. The door closes behind
them as they look at each
other.)
PINOCCHIO:
Ive decided to stay into hiding since
releasing my new fairytale, Born Again.
MAN:
The humans found your fairytale quite
favorable, last year. I came to drop your
check off. The story received $25,967,234
each on iTunes, softcover, hardcover, and
on Facebook somehow.
PINOCCHIO:
What can I say, Jack? My favorite agent is
awesome at seeing my stories. The check is
actually a total of $103,868,936. I have
enough to leave this filthy dump of a
place.
JACK:
Thats why Im here. The global economy
has changed in the Human World. The Judges
of Tales are wanting to talk about your
story before deciding to place out the
sequel.
PINOCCHIO:
(Confused, chuckles)
Jack, youre my best friend agent, and
all, but why?
JACK:
(Stays confident)
The story influenced a lot characteristics
of fairytale lives and almost stating our
existence. This means that you almost,
literally, gave us away to the Human
World.

PINOCCHIO:
Its a novel. A fairytale about
discovering things outside imaginations.
VOICE:
(A booming, thundering, and
angry voice. Loud.)
PINOCCHIO!
(PINOCCHIO stares at his agent, JACK, scoffing at him,
boldly, as three tall, high priest men walk onto the stage
with brown sticks.)
JACK:
Pinocchio, these are the Three Great Wise
Judges. Theyve lived here for as long as
time, shaping our lovely fairytale
society.
JUDGE 1:
(In a very angry, king voice)
Pinocchio, you have disapproved our
societys laws by using evidence, pointing
to our existence! Do you have anything to
say for yourself?
PINOCCHIO:
While you guys were judging citizens
appeal, I wrote an international
bestseller, including our society, that
everyone thought was fiction. Its not
real, councilmen.
JUDGE 1:
(Very angry)
Im going to kill the puppet!
(JUDGE 1 moves toward PINOCCHIO, but the other TWO JUDGES
keeps him back.)

PINOCCHIO:
(Laughing in enjoyment)
From your laws, you cant kill a puppet.
JUDGE 2:
(Demanding, but calm voice)
You stop at once, this instance. Are you
calm, Jeremy?
(Judge 1, Jeremy, nods.)
JUDGE 2:
Pinocchio, you have violated the rights of
keeping our existence hidden. This is
bringing you to trial.
PINOCCHIO:
(Small anger)
Thats why I never get into politics.
Look, high and mighty, I have not violated
anything of the Fairy Law. Anything that
is being violated is my rights.
JACK:
This is serious matter at hand, Pinocchio.
The Order is sentencing you four years in
Punishment for Yelps.
(PINOCCHIOS mouth drops open. He looks threatened.)
PINOCCHIO:
(Anger grows)
Listen here, Three Musketeers aka Frat
Boys, my rights are violated. There is no
such evidence that I have tried to give
our existence away.
JUDGE 3:
The evidence is found. There are twelve
evidence found in Thy book.

#1: People say that fairytales exist in
hidden ways of the Enchanted Forest, which
laid hidden in New York Citys Grand
Park.
PINOCCHIO:
(Interrupts JUDGE 3)
Thats the opening to the novel. Thats
how some books open. It is the human
opening sequence.
(JUDGE 2 holds an iPhone 5, searching through it.)
JUDGE 2:
He was telling the truth.
JUDGE 3:
What about:
Judgment of our time will run out as the
fast time of Pixie Dust being sprinkled on
our childhood memories. It can be
destroyed by looking deep into the ocean
to travel to an exciting place where no
one can grow old or become an adult. Its
called Neverland and its very true.
PINOCCHIO:
Its a very confusing metaphor for humans.
They heard of Peter Pan before. Its a
lame catchphrase like Capn Hook.
CAPTAIN HOOK:
(Coming from the door)
I hear your trap, mate! Ill slice it off!
PINOCCHIO:
You cant prove anything so far. I even
put in the beginning of the novel that
this whole story was fiction. I researched
every day that if anyone was searching to
find fairytales. 100 percent accurate that
no one is searching for our kind.

JUDGE 2:
(Embarrassed)
Hes right. We didnt read that part.
Sorry for our behavior. We shall make it
up to you.
PINOCCHIO:
(Scoffs, then laughs)
There will be no need for that. You
politicians have done enough already. Now,
please go. I have business to take care of
with my agent and family, alone.
JUDGE 3:
Have a nice evening, Pinocchio.
(After the JUDGES exit Stage Left, Jack sits back on the
couch with PINOCCHIO.)
PINOCCHIO
Thats why I think the real world has
politicians always decide stuff without
looking into stuff, most of the time.
JACK
Listen, Pinocchio. Theres something I
need to tell you about your dads hotel.
PINOCCHIO
I received a text from my brother,
Brittan. Someone died at the hotel.
JACK
Thats what I want to talk to you about.

PINOCCHIO
Listen, Jack. I know my fathers business
hasnt been successful in the past four
years, but I promise that it will be be

(JACK interrupts Pinocchio)
JACK
(Rapid and nervously)
Your father passed away this week due to
his bad health. It was in his hotel. The
brothers found him in his basement,
writing you a letter, then died on the
spot.
(PINOCCHIO looks out into space, then faces the audience.
JACK places a black, bowler hat on his head in sadness.
PINOCCHIO is silent.)
JACK
Im sorry for the interruption. I assume
they had sent the text to you already.
Its this Saturday at 8:34 AM. Im sorry.
(PINOCCHIO stares at the stage ground)
JACK
(Low, sensitive)
Bye, Mr. Pinocchio. Have a nice day, and
next Saturday.
(JACK, the agent, leaves the house, the stage, on Stage
Left. PINOCCHIO looks at the ground while the curtains
close.)

SCENE TWO

(NARRATORS 1 & 2 comes out upstage by entering from the
curtains. The 1
st
NARRATOR speaks.)
NARRATOR 1
Pinocchio became depressed, not only on
that day, but the whole week. He blamed
himself for his fathers death. He could
not bear it.
NARRATOR 2
The funeral was held on a rainy, but
beautiful Saturday morning. A lot of
fairytale creatures attended the funeral
in black, showing their gratitude toward
Pinocchios father.
(NARRATORS 1 & 2 exits the upper stage by going off the
side. The CURTAINS open as they exit. The scene has a
casket downstage while chairs circulate the side of the
casket. A fountain stays on the side of the casket. A bunch
of people are sitting in the chairs. The FAIRY GODMOTHER is
hosting the funeral.)
FAIRY GODMOTHER
He was an operating man that sacrificed
himself to make sure that he had made sure
he gave his children everything for life
and school.
(Sarcastically and whispers)
And dumping a rich, fairy named Fairy
Godmother.
(Normal)
Back to Gregappero, his real name, since
his named was protected in the fairy tale,
Pinocchio, so he could continue on. I
would like to call out his sons. From
oldest to youngest. Brittan, the oldest.
Bernard, the second oldest. Jacken, the
middle.

PINOCCHIO
(Interrupts FAIRY GODMOTHER)
And youngest, Pinocchio.
(PINOCCHIO walks out from
Stage Left. The funeral
attendants gasp as so does
his brothers BRITTAN,
BERNARD, and JACKEN.)

FAIRY GODMOTHER
Oh, my pixie dust.
(PINOCCHIO walks toward the
stand where the GODMOTHER is
located. He takes control of
it.)
PINOCCHIO
My father was a great person, although I
never appreciated that seven years ago.
Hopefully, he rests in peace. Thats all I
have to say.
(PINOCCHIO walks toward an
empty chair as his oldest
brother, BRITTAN, walks on
stage.)
BRITTAN
I appreciate everyone for coming out here
today to remember a great man, also known
as my father, Greggapero. He was a caring
and hard, working man.
FUNERAL VISITOR
(Distant and screaming)
No he wasnt!

BRITTAN
(Continues)
He would always be sure to have his
crafting tools and things with him. He
would never spend any money on selfish
things.
FUNERAL VISITOR 2
(Also screams)
We met at the casino last weekend! We
played games, and he cheated with my
money! He owes me 12,000 dollars!
BRITTAN
(Continues)
As I was saying, he would always give his
customers a charming welcome.
FUNERAL VISITOR 3
Thats not true. A price off of one of his
creations were $24. He cheated me off for
$42 instead.
(The whole funeral audience
start talking at once,
including GINGERBREAD MAN. A
FUNERAL VISITOR jumps on the
casket which smashes it. They
do this as the GRIM REAPER
shows.)
GRIM REAPER
(Looking Stage Right)
Is this the Greggaperos funeral?
(Looks at the outbreak of
angry VISITORS.)
GRIM REAPER
Ill come back later.
(He leaves from Stage Right.

FAIRY GODMOTHER takes the
stand.)

FAIRY GODMOTHER
(Screams to get attendants
attention)
EVERYONE, CALM DOWN!
(They stop in place in an
awkward position)
FAIRY GODMOTHER
Now, what Brittan was trying to say was
(Pauses)
That his father is a cheating, back
stabber who dumps fairies for stupid crap
such as you guys mother. Better yet, he
also stole banks and cheated people out of
their wallets! Thanks for coming to this
lunatics funeral. Sorry for wasting your
time.
(Fog appears, covering the
stage, then FAIRY GODMOTHER
vanishes)
BRITTAN
We are so screwed.
(The three human brothers run
Stage Left as the attendants
follow with anger except
Pinocchio and Gingerbread
Man)
GINGER
Its nice to see you back, Woody.

(PINOCCHIO turns to look at
GINGER)
PINOCCHIO
Whats up, Ginger?
(GINGER walks toward
PINOCCHIO)
GINGER
Wondering for the past ten years of what
happened to my best friend.
(PINOCCHIO laughs)
GINGER
I read your novel. Its great. It deserves
an award.
PINOCCHIO
Thanks, buddy.
GINGER
Also, Im sorry about your father. Its a
shame. He was what everyone said. A douche
or dirt bag.
(PINOCCHIO looks sad)
GINGER
Im sorry, Pinocchio.
PINOCCHIO
Its okay. I just never spent time with
him when he was alive.
GINGER
Its going to be alright.
PINOCCHIO
So, how long are you staying here?

GINGER
For at least a month. I gotten a job
interview here in town.
PINOCCHIO
Congratulations!
GINGER
How long are you staying?
PINOCCHIO
Just for the weekend. I have to go to this
meeting of my fathers will.
GINGER
Im sure its nothing much.
PINOCCHIO
(Sarcastic)
Gee, thanks.
GINGER
(Walks over toward Pinocchio)
Im sorry. Its just that I havent seen
you in years. I mean, this was our
childhood home, then you became a shadow
among others.
PINOCCHIO
(Places his hands over his
face, then looks at Ginger
with a harsh look)
Look, Ive been trying to clean my act for
the past two decades but it doesnt helps!
Ever since that accident years ago, people
see me as a murderer and puppet! This town
became my independent hole! I cant stay
here!

(GINGER is silent. PINOCCHIO
sighs.)
PINOCCHIO
Listen, I have to go. Im about to be
late. Nice seeing you again, Cookie.
(PINOCCHIO exits offstage.
GINGER stays.)
GINGER
(Sighs)
If only people knew the truth.
(Curtains close, then
NARRATOR 1 comes out from the
curtains, onto stage)
NARRATOR 1
The sad brutal struggle of Pinocchios
past started to haunt him. A secret that
broke out years ago started to manipulate
his head. He tried to hold back the pain
intentionally, but he didnt know what was
to lie next ahead of him.
(NARRATOR 1 exits the stage
as the curtains open to
Pinocchio, his brothers, and
GREGAPPEROS LAWYER. They all
sit at a table, in a cellar)
LAWYER
Your father was a heartfelt man. Thank God
that he died. He treated me like Excuse
my language. An audience is watching.
BRITTAN
The will. Please.
LAWYER
(Coughs)
Very well, then.

(Pulls out a document from
his suitcase)
LAWYER
Due to my manners that Ive never had a
lot of things to leave behind to my sons,
but a hotel, hotel business, and my tool
business. These are my things I leave
behind to my dearest sons.
Number 1: My prize business goes off to my
artist of a son named Jacken, who showed
me that artists should even take on my
wood chipping business.
JACKEN
(In excitement)
Yes!!
LAWYER
No more interruptions. I have to go meet
with Miley Cyrus and Snoop Lion in an
hour.
(Continues)
Number 2: The main family business has
been mostly my famous hotel in Taleland.
HoTale. Its great to leave it behind to
my trust worthy son. He is the most brave,
responsible person in the world. He is my
favorite of course. I hereby state my will
to continue on my hotels legacy to
Pinocchio.
BRITTAN AND PINOCCHIO
(Surprised and Yells)
WHAT?!
LAWYER
(Continues)
Due to giving away all my possessions

away, my loving, trusted attorney shall
get nothing in return? I told you he was
a total dirt bag. Isnt this some Sorry
for the language again. I should go. The
Kardashian are waiting for me outside.
(LAWYER leaves with his suitcase off stage left. PINOCCHIO
and BRITTAN face each other in curiosity and anger as the
curtain closes.)

SCENE THREE

(NARRATOR 1 and 2 appear from
the curtains)

Not very happy, Brittan had left town for
a day or two. Meanwhile, Pinocchio tried
to narrow down the facts of why his douche
bag of a father left him this will.
NARRATOR 2
Why do you talk about Pinocchios father?
NARRATOR 1
Didnt you hear the comments in Scene 2?
That fool owes me $300.
NARRATOR 2
Please continue with the show.

(Curtains open to Pinocchio
in the HoTale Lobby, then a
princess and a frog enter)
FROG
(Yelling)
Why wont you kiss me?
PRINCESS
Because youre a frog!
FROG
I told you that the spell would break if
you would just kiss me!

I shall never kiss you. Read my lips.
IWontKissYOU!
FROG
And to think that we were going to get
married. Im going to make a novel, then
Disney will recover the rights, and make a
bestselling movie called The Princess and
the Frog. See you, Mrs. Turd!
(Hops away toward PINOCCHIO)
PRINCESS
I dont need you, you sorry
FROG
Go frog yourself!
(Hops away toward PINOCCHIO.
PINOCCHIO spots the Frog.)
FROG
Pinocchio?
PINOCCHIO
Nicholas?
BOTH
Its been years!
PINOCCHIO
Have a seat on the table and make yourself
comfortable.
(Hops onto table as PINOCCHIO
sits in a chair)
PINOCCHIO
Hows the curse going?
NICHOLAS
Im still a frog. The princess still isnt

cooperative.
PINOCCHIO
After 25 years, she still is stingy.
NICHOLAS
Im sorry about your father. Its a shame.
He owed me $1,000.
PINOCCHIO
So what brings you here?
NICHOLAS
A business thing of my kingdom. I
apparently have to stay for a month. How
long are you staying?
PINOCCHIO
Apparently forever. The will was pointed
out toward me to keep this hotel running.
But Im leaving tomorrow.
NICHOLAS
You should totally keep it! Itll be like
old times, except without being younger.
PINOCCHIO
I dont know. I have my own business to
run.
NICHOLAS
That was an awesome book. You should make
a sequel.
PINOCCHIO
Have you seen Ginger?
NICHOLAS
No. Why?
PINOCCHIO
He attended my fathers funeral.

Well, invite him to the caf down the
street so we can catch up. I have to run.
Princess, bring your butt over here!
PRINCESS
Im coming you mucus covered ugly freak!
(Leaves stage left, then
GINGER comes in)
PINOCCHIO
Great that you came. I need to speak with
you.
(GINGER sits down with
PINOCCHIO)
GINGER
I heard about the will. Its going around
like a storm.
PINOCCHIO
What should I do?
GINGER
You should do whats best. I also think
that you should consider in fulfilling
your fathers wishes.
PINOCCHIO
Why does everyone think that I should do
this?
GINGER
In my opinion, you said that you never
spent enough time with him. This is that
chance to fulfill that goal.
PINOCCHIO
I think the new gumdrops buttons has you
talking Looney.

(PINOCCHIO begins to get out
of his chair)
GINGER
(Yells in anger and demands)
SIT DOWN!!
(PINOCCHIO sits down)
GINGER
Now, you need to prove this. Your brother,
Brittan, was talking about how you were
unworthy and not dependable for this job.
You need to prove him wrong that you are
Gregapperos favorite. You got this. Now,
my job interview is in a few minutes. I
have to go. You think about it.
(GINGER exits Stage Right
while PINOCCHIO sits and is
quiet as the curtains close.
NARRATOR 1 appears out of
nowhere.)
NARRATOR 1
Over the weekend, Pinocchio called his
agent to bring his belongings to the
hotel. Pinocchio had made his mind up to
stay and try his best on the hotel. He
wanted to prove his brother wrong.
Although his life was depressing, his
journey was about to be complete.

SCENE FOUR
(NARRATOR 2 appears)
NARRATOR 2
HoTales business was opened a week later.
Pinocchio had a huge success over that
week. A lot of customers came like Hansel
and Gretel, the Great Wizard Oz, and Alice
from Wonderland. His life went well, but
his greatest adventure is about to begin.
(NARRATOR 2 exits as the
curtain opens to HoTale
Lobby)
PINOCCHIO
And your name is?
CUSTOMER
Peter Pan and this is my wife, Wendy.
(PINOCCHIO writes in their
names in a book as customers
and hotel helpers run around
the stage)
PINOCCHIO
Heres your key and we hope you two enjoy
your stay.
(PETER PAN and WENDY leave
the stage as HOTALE ATTENDENT
comes over)
HOTEL ATTENDENT
Our number of guests have increased sir.
PINOCCHIO
Thank the lord. Break time everyone!
(All HOTALE ATTENDENTS stop
doing what they are doing,
then a person in a coat falls

to the floor from Stage Left)
PINOCCHIO
(Running over toward the
PERSON)
Get medical help! Its going to be
alright. Whats your name?
PERSON
Evna Frost.
PINOCCHIO
Its going to be alright, Evna. Hurry up!
(GRIM REAPER appears from
Stage Left)
GRIM REAPER
Is this HoTale?
(Stares at scene)
GRIM REAPER
Ill come back next week.
(GRIM REAPER leaves offstage
as the curtains close, then
NARRATORS 1 and 2 show up)
NARRATOR 1
Pinocchio had saved her just in time as
she made it toward the Fairy General
Hospital. She made it alive and stayed in
the Hospital.
NARRATOR 2
Though that she was dying, Pinocchio found
something that looked familiar to him.
NARRATOR 1
There was a carving or tattoo on her hand.
A swirl on her hand which made Pinocchio
go blank. Could this symbol be something

of the past? Lets continue the show.
(Exits stage as curtains
open, then it shows
PINOCCHIO, NICHOLAS the Frog,
and GINGER at a caf)
GINGER
See? It isnt that bad to run a hotel, is
it?
PINOCCHIO
Not if the past is coming back to haunt
me.
NICHOLAS
(Moving closer to PINOCCHIO)
What do you mean, Woody?
(PINOCCHIO pulls out photo,
then hands it to GINGER and
NICHOLAS)
GINGER
It looks the same.
PINOCCHIO
Exactly.
NICHOLAS
Is it blackmail?
PINOCCHIO
No. She looked hurt pretty bad. But, she
also looked familiar.
GINGER
Is she safe and alive?
PINOCCHIO
Yes, but I think she might think that Im
weird if I just came in asking questions.

NICHOLAS
Is she a princess?
(PINOCCHIO and GINGER looks
at Nicholas)
NICHOLAS
What? Michelle is stingy. She wont kiss
me.
(Both still stare at
NICHOLAS)
NICHOLAS
Dont come crying to me when a witch
changes you into a frog!
(GINGER and PINOCCHIO face
each other)
GINGER
Just talk to her. Invite her to stay at
the hotel.
PINOCCHIO
A great plan. Ill do it.
(PINOCCHIOS agent, JACK,
appears from stage left, then
sits by PINOCCHIO)
JACK
Its great to see you, Pinocchio.
PINOCCHIO
Guys, meet the man who made my stories
possible. Meet Jack Benjamin, my agent.
Hes here to talk about my opening for my
sequel.
NICHOLAS
WHAT?! A work meeting on Taco Tuesday? I
have a meeting on my own, anyway. Peace!

(They stare at NICHOLAS
hopping away)
JACK
Has he always--?
PINOCCHIO
Just dont pay any attention. So, whats
up?
JACK
I have good news and bad news. The good
news is that the company wants you to make
another novel. The bad news is that they
do not want a sequel. Instead, they want a
biography of this hotel that your father
created.
PINOCCHIO
(Mouth opened and in shock)
WHAT?! Why?
JACK
They did not like the sequel idea, then
when the success of the hotel broke out,
they wanted me to ask you to write out a
biography of the hotel and you.
(PINOCCHIO looks angry, then
blows his breath)
JACK
In my opinion, I suggest that you think
about this. If not, well go to another
company, alright?
PINOCCHIO
Sure. Thanks for coming.
JACK
I need to go.

You can stay in the hotel for a week. Ill
pay for it.
JACK
Thanks, Pinocchio.
(Curtains close)

(NARRATORS 1 and 2 appear out
of the curtains)
NARRATOR 1
Pinocchio traveled over toward the Fairy
General Hospital. Once he got there and
achieved toward Evnas room, she seemed to
be alone and patience.
NARRATOR 2
He didnt want to be the odd one out, but
he went into there anyway, looking like a
fool.
(They leave stage as curtains
open to PINOCCHIO entering
the stage toward EVNAS bed)
PINOCCHIO
(Nervously)
Hello, Evna. I hope Im not disturbing.
EVNA
No, sir. You may come near.
PINOCCHIO
(Walks over toward EVNA)
I just wanted to come check on my
customer. You almost died.
EVNA
(Smiles)
Thanks to you, I get to live another day.
PINOCCHIO
Evna, I know that this is probably not my
business, but what happened?
EVNA
I really dont know. When things happen, I

dont really remember anything.
PINOCCHIO
Well, then whats the symbol on your hand?
I was concerned that it might be a burn.
EVNA
Its my birthmark. I was born into a group
of fairytale nomads. Its really nothing.
PINOCCHIO
Have I seen you before? You look rather
familiar.
EVNA
Not that I know of. You look familiar
also.
(They both stare at each
other for five seconds)
PINOCCHIO
Im sorry for barging in and asking all
these questions. Ill leave you alone.
(Walks toward Stage Left)
EVNA
Wait!
(PINOCCHIO stops)
EVNA
I love having company. Could you stay a
few minutes longer?
PINOCCHIO
(Smiles)
Sure.

(Walks over toward EVNA as
the curtains close. NARRATORS
1 and 2 enter)
NARRATOR 1
Time flew over a week, and Evna and
Pinocchio had befriended each other.
Pinocchio had invited her over to stay at

returned into town, but Pinocchio wasnt
worried about it. He and Evna were too
close. This passed over for two months.
NARRATOR 2
The business became so successful that it
made it all over the Fairy World. It was
top 10 of the Famous Hotels of Fairy
World. But thus our story continues in

What a prince. Did yall ever find the
witch?
PINOCCHIO
Not really. We found the hideout. The
police investigated, but not enough
evidence to point who the witch was.
EVNA
Poor frog. I mean, prince.
PINOCCHIO
Yeah. He still acts like a prince, but as
a frog.
EVNA
Its a good thing that you still have a
family and friends. Mines had abandoned
me.
(PINOCCHIO looks at her,
sorry)
EVNA
Well, its off to bed. Good night.

Pinocchio was sent to General Hospital. He
was suffering with a psychological thing.
He remembered a horrible tragedy from his
past that he tried to escape, but it
started to take control his mind.
Meanwhile, he woke up a week later,
finding a surprise visitor.
(Curtains open to General
Hospital. PINOCCHIO wakes up,

owner of the hotel.
(Leaves stage as curtains

sitting at a table while
HANSEL and GRETEL take

What do you want?
NICHOLAS
A cappuccino with sparkled pixie drink.
Mix that with a bunch of budlight and

(Stops NICHOLAS)
Stop, Nick. Remember last time you drunk
that much that ten years ago, you woke up

Thats right. Just, put the pixie drink
with the cappuccino.

and a HOODED PERSON appears)

The Awakening starts at the eve of
Pinocchios death sentence?

Yes. And it shall be dwelled with spirits.
BRITTAN
Got it. I shall see you there in two days.
(HOODED PERSON exits, then
BRITTAN leaves stage.
NICHOLAS reveals himself)

I need to find Ginger, then Pinocchio.
(Curtains close, then

Caf, telling them everything he had heard
from Brittan and the mysterious person.

For once, I agree with my sister. And
judging to our past story and that we
never eventually found our kidnappers
body in the oven, yeah, we should go find
out more of these peoples secrets.
NICHOLAS
Its settled, then. We are going to find
out more of these secrets, but we have to
go and see Pinocchio.
GINGER
But first, I need a sip of coffee.
(Tries to reach coffee with
no fingers)
NICHOLAS
You know that the coffee will burn off
your gumdrop.
GINGER
(Straining)
Shut up.

The gang had went to visit Tinker Bell as
Ginger had went to visit Pinocchio. Ginger
was assuming that Nicholas was making all
this up since Nicholas was wanting to
become human this year. Ginger, then,
started to realize that maybe their
friendship was falling apart. But when he
had reached the hospital, Ginger had
realized that he was right.
(NARRATOR 2 leaves stage,
then curtains open, then
GINGER and NICHOLAS enters
Pinocchios room)
GINGER
Whats up?
PINOCCHIO
Escaping mind.
NICHOLAS
(Nervously)
Okay, well, how are you holding up?
PINOCCHIO
Its over, Gingerbread and Frog Legs.

idea to go to the party, seven years ago!
That was the last time I saw Lasa! Just

NICHOLAS

Chasing the witch that transformed you!

(Yells with anger)

Ginger and Nicholas felt like they didnt
need to help Pinocchio anymore, but they
were still going to find out what The
Awakening was, so they proceeded to Tinker
Bells room in HoTale. They had went with
Hansel and Gretel to continue their
gadgets, then head out toward Brittans
home.
(NARRATOR 1 leaves stage as
curtains open to GINGER,
NICHOLAS, and TINKER BELL)
TINKER BELL
You guys should make it out alive. If not,
dont mention me. Also, make sure you
frame Peter Pan for me.
NICHOLAS
No worries. We hate Peter Pan, too.

Are you sure that this isnt for

NICHOLAS
(Sighs)
Pinocchio wants to be selfish, let him.
Meanwhile, we have to find out what the

this is a threat or not. Brittan has
always been up to no good, and I fear that
this is a warning.

It started at nighttime when they started
to search for Brittans house. They found
out that his home stood outside the city,
so they attended to sneak over toward his
house wearing black with jackets. I guess
you could call this scene Tales in
Black.
(Curtains open to GINGER,
NICHOLAS, HANSEL, and GRETEL
behind a couch in the
BRITTANS HOUSE. SECURITY is
also there)
NICHOLAS
What do we do first?
GINGER
We wait till they leave.
(Waits for five seconds)
GRETEL
Well, these mother lovers arent leaving.
(GRETEL takes out a straw,
then shoots darts at the
SECURITY, then they fall
asleep)
GINGER
That was awesome!
NICHOLAS
Lets go. Come on.
(GRETEL and NICHOLAS move

GRETEL

HANSEL
(Typing rapidly)
Its a steel door to keep intruders. Dont

What do we do?
GINGER
Well turn off the alarm, but you have to
see the door open.
GRETEL
We cant. It just wont budge.
HANSEL
Ill try to disable the electricity to the
door to open. It might take a while.
(A SECURITY GUARD enters from
stage right, then tries to do
a sneak attack slowly)
HANSEL
I got it, guys.
(Door pops open, then
SECURITY GUARD is behind
NICHOLAS)
GRETEL
Get down!

They battled security guards, with
stealth, trying to reach Brittans Office
which was located in a secret hideout,
under the basement. It was going to be a
long night. More secrets were about to
come light.
(NARRATOR 2 steps aside again
as curtains open at the
basement door opening to a
secret hideout)
GINGER
(Checks out the door)
Coast is clear, guys.
(They enter the stage)
GRETEL
(Whispers to Hansel)
I havent broken in someones house in a
long time.

What are you guys babbling about?

Heres a safe and desk that belongs to

crack it open. Nicholas and I will try to
open the desk.
(NICHOLAS and GINGER try to
open desk while HANSEL and
GRETEL try to open safe.
HANSEL and GRETEL take out a
stethoscope to open safe
while NICHOLAS and GINGER
pick at it until POP!)
GINGER

GRETEL
The sound of a safe opening.
(All squeal, then run over to
HANSEL and GRETEL)

Whats that? Whats he hiding?

These possessions are possessed with some
kind of magic. I just retrieved some
paperwork from the desk. Apparently, he
owns the rights to the HoTale. Our worst
fears have come true. So far, the party is
a planning to something called The
Awakening. Its a place where a specific,
but unknown witch is to harvest innocent
peoples souls.
GRETEL
Why would Brittan do something like that?
GINGER
I dont know, but hes targeting an
assassination on Pinocchio although hes

The Awakening is tomorrow.
HANSEL
We have to save Pinocchio and go to the

party, and the gang was running out of
time. Once they had arrived at the
Hospital, Pinocchio was nowhere to be
found. They went back toward Hansel and
Gretels Caf to plan their arrival.

where GINGER, NICHOLAS,
HANSEL, and GRETEL sit at a
table)
GRETEL
An hour till Pinocchios sentence and two
hours till the party.
HANSEL
What are we going to do?
NICHOLAS
First off, were going to save Pinocchio,
then were going to investigate the party
and save the world. Listen to document.
The Awakening is the beginning of world
domination. The souls of fairytale
creatures determine the internal fate of
humans on the Otherside. The souls will be
under control of a witch to destroy Human
Kind.
HANSEL
Whats Pinocchio have to do with this?
GINGER
Hes the one who can destroy this evil.
Hes the key to both worlds survival. And
Brittans kept a surveillance on both
Pinocchio and Evna.

party, so Im going to the party as Ginger
protects Evna from any witch.
Then, when Pinocchio arrives, we stop this
Awakening before Brittan begins a ritual.
HANSEL
Sounds like a plan to me. Will I have to
explain the plan and everything?
GINGER

HANSEL

unruly crimes has led to his death which

witness gets here.
BRITTAN
Hes here, your majesties.
(BRITTAN walks onstage toward
handcuffed PINOCCHIO)
PINOCCHIO
You stick in the freakin mud!
BRITTAN
(Laughs)
I tell the truth of what I have seen years
ago: Pinocchio had persuaded his friends
to kill his girlfriend. They figured he
was kidding, so Pinocchio pulled a prank
that ended up killing her. The friends
tried to tell, but he threatened to kill
them, so they hid it for years.
JUDGE 1
Thats all the proof I need.
JUDGE 2
Wait! We need more proof than that.
JUDGE 1
I hate this puppet so much. We have to
kill him.

(Walking toward Brittan with

wanted the will of the HoTale, I
suffocated your selfless father, knowing
that you would come to take the will.
EVNA
But you know me! Who am I?
STONA
The final ingredient. Youre the
reincarnation of Lasa Pairkens. Not
exactly reincarnation. I collected her
remains, then used magic to bring her back
to life. The main purpose was to get
Pinocchios heart mixed with his darling
to use the heart for the Awakening.
PINOCCHIO
Never! You will never have our hearts!
STONA
Oh, really?

We have to save Pinocchio and Evna.
GRETEL
Hansel! Get our weapons!
GINGER
What are you talking about?
GRETEL
I never told you this but Hansel and I are
Witch Hunters. We hunt down the witch that
killed our parents. And our childhood. And
that woman killed my parents.
NICHOLAS
Its Revenge Time. Im coming with you,
guys.
TINKER BELL
Me also. Hes my friend and I still hate
Peter.

(NARRATOR 1 and 2 appear on
the stage)
NARRATOR 1
It was no longer Fairy Play. It was the
Last Stand for the world.
NARRATOR 2
The witch had made an alliance with a
bunch of fairytale villains, just in case
that the others came near them. The
Awakening process was coming to an end,
but the fairytale creatures were making
their way toward the dark castle in the
woods.
(NARRATOR 1 and 2 step aside
as the curtains open to a
sturdy castle lobby with
STONA, PINOCCHIO, and EVNA)
STONA
The Awakening process is almost complete,
then your crystal hearts shall mince.
PINOCCHIO
You will never get our hearts!
STONA
Silly puppet.
CAPN HOOK
(Running onstage)
Madam Stona! We have intruders!

(Walking onstage with
NICHOLAS, HANSEL, and GINGER)
Youre starting war, tonight. You want
war, you will get it, but those two are
coming with us.
STONA
It sounds like your certain, my friends.
GINGER
Were giving you one more chance and a
truce.
NICHOLAS
Heck, naw! She turned me into a frog years
ago. She am not leaving alive.
HANSEL
Shut up.
STONA
I do not accept your truce.
GRETEL
Then, a war you will get.
(FAIRYTALE ARMY appear
onstage)
STONA
Call in the army, Hook.
(HOOK whistles, then THE
VILLAINOUS ARMY appear)
NICHOLAS
Whats the plan?
GRETEL
We take out her army. Ginger will lead the
army. Nicholas and I will go after

JUDGE 2
(Walking onstage with JUDGE

JACK
(Pulling out his sword)

WHEN we fight.

The Awakening will be complete.
GINGER

STONA

GRETEL

NICHOLAS

(FAIRYTALE ARMY collides with
VILLAINOUS ARMY. GINGER

(Blocking CAPN HOOKS
attack)
Hows it going?
CAPN HOOK
(Swings at Ginger)
About to cut your other gumdrop.
GINGER
I dont think so!
(GINGER dodges an attack,
then hits CAPN HOOKS hook
off, then kicks him to the
ground)
GINGER
Call the crock for the other hand.

CAPN HOOK runs away from the
CROCIDILE. STONA runs toward
GRETEL, knocking her to the
ground, then uses her powers
to throw NICHOLAS across
stage)
STONA
You fools! Any minute now, the Awakening
will start.
(STONA grabs EVNA, setting
her on the ground.)
STONA
The first heart!
PINOCCHIO
NOO!!
(PINOCCHIO runs toward EVNA
quickly as STONA slashes her
wand, and PINOCCHIO is
stabbed)
GINGER, EVNA, HANSEL, NICHOLAS,
AND GRETEL
PINOCCHIO!!
(EVNA holds PINOCCHIOS HEAD
as the OTHERS crowd around.
SILENCE.)
EVNA
(Crying)
Pinocchio
GINGER
Youre going to make it, buddy.
NICHOLAS
Stay alive.

(PINOCCHIO closes his eyes.)
STONA
You fools are dumb! No one can stop me!
(NICHOLAS charges with anger
at STONA with a sword. HE
cuts her back, then they
swordfight. NICHOLAS is
winning, then STONA pushes
NICHOLAS back with powers.
GINGER and HANSEL run toward
her, but she pushes them the
same way.)
STONA
NO ONE CAN STOP ME!
(STONA hears a whistle, then
looks behind her to find
GRETEL and EVNA with a fiery
staff)
EVNA
Only we can stop you, you son of a witch!
(EVNA stabs STONA, who dies
by fire, then burst into
dust.)
GRETEL
Sweet revenge.
(EVNA goes back to PINOCCHIO,
holding his HEAD as EVERYONE
in the FAIRYTALE ARMY crowd
them. A portal closes behind
them. Then, the curtain
closes.)

(NARRATOR 1 and 2 stand in
front of the curtains)
NARRATOR 1
A week had passed since stopping The
Awakening. People were excited that the
Wanted Witch was dead, but the mourning of
Pinocchio continued.
NARRATOR 2
The funeral of Pinocchio was on the same
mood of his fathers funeral, but citizens
said nice things. They loved and mourned
for him. And they were never going to
forget him.
(Curtains open to PINOCCHIOS
FUNERAL. The stage is full of
fairytale people including
EVNA, NICHOLAS, GINGER,
HANSEL, and GRETEL. Then,
JUDGES 2 AND 3 come onstage)
JUDGE 2
Can I speak with Hansel and Gretel?

(Walking toward the JUDGES)
This is a memorial service. What is it?
JUDGE 2
We just wanted to congratulate you on
defeating the witch.
GRETEL
Thank you, now, bye-bye.
JUDGE 3
Let us explain.
HANSEL
Please, continue. My sister is short
tempered.
JUDGE 2
Your parents are not dead, entirely.
HANSEL
What?
GRETEL
What are you trying to say? Are they alive
or did another witch kill them? What is
it?
JUDGE 3
Your parents are still alive.
JUDGE 2
We are your parents. We were resurrected
by a river among our house. The witch had
killed us in our burning house, but an
eternal river underneath the house had
resurrected us.
GRETEL
Then why didnt you come looking for us?

We didnt know we had kids until a few
months earlier, but we couldnt find your

HANSEL

(HANSEL, GRETEL, JUDGES 2,

(Hops toward EVNA)

was alive, he missed you, Lasa.
EVNA
Im not that person anymore.
NICHOLAS
And Im not the person I used to be.
Selfish and a human. Ive changed. All you
need is happiness.
EVNA
So you dont blame me for this whole
thing?
NICHOLAS
Naw. I blame the witch and Obama from the
Human World. You, were a victim. Pinocchio
would have wanted to rest in peace.
(NICHOLAS wraps his human
frog arm around a crying
EVNA)
VOICE
I would have wanted to rest in peace, but
I fell in love with you and Evna.

Thats right, Evna. Let Pinocchio speak to
you in a deep, human voice.
EVNA
I didnt say anything.
VOICE
I did.
(A human PINOCCHIO walks
onstage toward EVNA. EVNA
runs into PINOCCHIOS ARMS,
hugging him. NICHOLAS comes
out of his frog skin into a
human.)
NICHOLAS
PINOCCHIO! YOURE ALIVE! IM HUMAN!
(PINOCCHIO smiles at EVNA,
then they kiss. PRINCESS
comes up to NICHOLAS)
PRINCESS
Now that you are human, how about we get
married?
NICHOLAS
That line dropped long time ago. You
didnt like me then, why would I like you
now? Go and bury yourself.
(Walks away from PRINCESS to
kissing PINOCCHIO and EVNA)
NICHOLAS
You two lovebirds need to stop. Youre
embarrassing.
PINOCCHIO
Okay.

What happened?
GRETEL
(Walking toward NICHOLAS)
Ill tell you what happened. The curse was
broken. The witchs lifetime of curses are
broken.
PINOCCHIO
But I was never cursed by the witch.
GINGER
Evnas love broke the puppet spell.
GINGER
All righty, then. I think we should
celebrate.
TINKER BELL
Celebrate what?
HANSEL
Pinocchio, Evna, Nicholas, and Gretel and
Gingers engagement.
EVERYONE
WHAT?!
GRETEL
(Shows a ring on her finger)
Im engaged to the Gingerbread Man.
NICHOLAS
Where should we celebrate?
PINOCCHIO
The HoTale. But we need a singer.

(Curtains close, then
spotlight faces NARRATORS 1
and 2)

They relived and celebrated a new miracle.

(Curtains open to a CROWD
dancing to EVNA singing ROAR.
After they dance, the
curtains close.)
NARRATOR 1
In the future, Gretel and Ginger had
gotten married a few months later. So did
Pinocchio and Evna, after finding his
fathers wedding band. He also published
his biography called The HoTale, which
became a bestseller. Tinker Bell still
hates Peter Pan, but that was later
forgotten when she dated the male Tooth
Fairy.
NARRATOR 2
Although Gretel had gotten married, she
and her brother, Hansel, continued to
Witch Hunt, but Gretel wasnt connected
with her parents since abandonment. Hansel
became Judge 4. Nicholas never returned
toward his selfish way, but helped out
with companies around the world, including
HoTale. Everyone else lived happily ever
after.
NARRATOR 1
Except Princess. She was found on the
streets, asking for spare change after
Nicholas abandoned her. Also, Pinocchio

was visited by his fathers spirit. He was
forgiven and Pinocchio accepted his
fathers love.
NARRATOR 2
And this concludes our show of Pinocchio,
