Creamy Tuna
Pasta Bake
























Ingredients:

400g shell pasta
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1Brown onion finely sliced
2 tablespoons tomato paste
300ml cream
1/3 cup chives
2 x 190g can tuna in oil
1 cup grated tasty cheese
1 red capsicum thinly diced
Pinch of salt
Black pepper
Plan:

Step 1: Put on hair net and apron.
Step 2: Put ingredients on workbench.
Step 3: Wash hands.
Step 4: Gather utensils and equipment.
Step 5: Preheat oven to 180
o
C fan force.
Step 6: Fill a pot with hot water and put on stove to boil.
Step 7: Peel and cut onion into thin slices.
Step 8: Wash capsicum.
Step 9: Cut capsicum and remove seeds. Cut in half and put the other
bit to the side. Cut the capsicum into small slices.
Step 10: Put pasta in boiling water slowly and cook until al dente.
Step 11: Put a saucepan on gas over medium heat and add a little oil.
Step 12: Put onion and capsicum onto saucepan for 4 minutes.
Step 13: Turn off stove for the pot of pasta.
Step 14: Drain pasta in colander and return to pot.
Step 15: Add tomato paste onto saucepan.
Step 16: Turn down heat on the stove.
Step 17: Add the cream slowly stirring to combine with the tomato paste
and onion and capsicum.
Step 18: Pour this mixture into pot with pasta and mix.
Step 19: In the pot add the chopped herbs and stir.
Step 20: Drain liquid from tuna and stir.
Step 21: Season with salt and pepper.
Step 22: Move mixture to ovenproof dish.
Step 23: Sprinkle tasty cheese over dish.
Step 24: Bake for 15 minutes or until golden on top.
Step 25: Set aside for 5 minutes.

Bowl Scraper To scrape bowls of any leftovers
Wooden Spoon To mix ingredients in saucepan
Colander To drain pasta
Serving spoon To scoop the pasta out of the bowl into the container

0 5 minutes Come into room and gather equipment
5 - 10 minutes Boil water and start cutting vegetables
10 20 minutes Cook ingredients on fry pan. Put pasta in pan to cook
20 25 minutes Take pasta off stove and start mix sauce from saucepan together. Transfer this
mixture to an oven proof bowl
25 30 minutes Sprinkle with cheese and add pepper and salt
30 45 minutes Put Tuna Bake in oven. Clean up work area while waiting.
40 45 minutes Take Tuna Pasta bake out of oven and let it cool
45 50 minutes Put equipment away and sanitize work area
