Describe what our exploration looked like within the TCT. RATING 1-4 __4_____ After we analyzed students scores on final assessments, based on the data we discussed race. On that information we created a document called intervention list.

We gained students interest in Spanish and the culture by taking them on the field trip. We used the intervention list to intervene struggling students and there were so many conversations fostered about race and student achievement after analyzing our formative and summative common assessments.

11. What were key learnings/take-aways or group accomplishments during the 2 nd semester?
Comments: We piloted a reader called Piratas del Caribe y el mapa secreto and although the book had more cognates and a better story line than our previous reader Pobre Ana, after student feedback, we discovered that there is a purpose to the way the Blaine Ray writes. We decided for next year to go back to Pobre Ana.
12. What are suggested areas for the TCT to revisit or use as a starting point for next year?
Comments: Since next year our Spanish TCT will be consolidated into one team, we need to focus on aligned all levels to essential questions. Also we have to created activities and assessments that align to the AP themes and format.
