Introduction

We, the initial four co-presidents of the Golden Shores island, hereby declare
that these documents shall be the guiding law of this land forevermore. From now, and
forever, anyone opposing these rules shall be punished appropriately (see punishment
in the laws section). These documents apply on the island of the Golden Shores and the
surrounding fty mile area.

Rights

All men and woman shall be treated equally. No matter their race, social class, or
rank. Furthermore, no human being shall be possessed as property. Non-human beings
may be bought or sold and kept in the dwelling of the buyer but they are not considered
property. They shall not be treated as inanimate objects and may be taken away by the
government if this occurs.
From now on the government shall provide free healthcare for all citizens but
shall also tax unhealthy foods and items promoting injury such as but not limited to
rearms, potato chips, milk chocolate, red wine, chain saws, buttered pre-packaged
popcorn, video games, and etcetera.
On the topic of education, religion shall be completely separated from school
and/or state. All education systems but traditional and religious systems will be allowed.
Education will be free to all but you will be required to pay small taxes used to pay staff
and to construct the buildings. Schools will be required to hold each of the following
classes for at least a half an hour for at least one-hundred eighty days per three-
hundred sixty-ve day year. The required classes include mathematics, world language,
grammar, occupations (sciences), physical education, and humanities (social studies
and history).

Election and Decision

The Golden Shores has four co-presidents. Two male and two female, voted in
for terms of six years with three re-elections allowed. The minimum age of a president is
thirty-ve. You must also be a human and must have lived on the island for at least ve
years. There are two elections. One for females and one for males. The winners and
runners up are declared presidents. A decision is made when at least three fourths of
the co-presidents agree. All citizens must be at least seventeen to be considered an
adult and to vote.
Aside from the presidents, there is another body of government ofcials, the
Secondary Committee. This group consists of thirty individuals, ve chosen by each
president, and ten individuals voted in by the voting citizens. Their terms last six years.
This committee has several powers. First, if at least nineteen disagree with a decision
made by the presidents then that decision shall be voted on again by the committee and
presidents combined (thirty four people) but at least twenty ve voters must agree with
the decision. Second, this committee holds hearings and once twenty members agree
that the subject is either guilty or innocent that decision stands. Third, the Secondary
Committee may declare a recall. If twenty ve of the thirty members agree that one of
the four current co-presidents should be recalled from ofce then a public voting session
is held. The term of the new co-president lasts until the next voting session would be
regularly held.
