Gods people are getting

Lets see, where to begin? I guess the best place to start catching you up would
be at our rental house in AR. Since we wrote to you last time we have been able to
get it fixed up and on the market to sell. This is a big deal, because we really want
to be out from under it before we head to language school in August. We could
have never got it fixed up and ready to sell without the hands-on help from some
very godly men and women with servants hearts! Thank you to all of you!
The next big thing to happen was my (Jesses) quick trip to the Dominican
Republic with Bro. David Dickson to meet with some of the pastors again and also
figure out a few of the legal details of us moving there when it gets time. This was a
very successful trip for me mainly because I felt like I was able to connect more with
some of the pastors that I will be serving and working with in our ministry. I learned
more about their current and ongoing needs that I would love to share with you if
you are interested or looking for a project to get involved with. I also learned more
about them personally as well as their plans and visions for the ministry there. I
have come back with an even bigger burden for the children and churches. Im
more excited than ever about what God is already doing. One church that just
finished planting a church is already preparing to plant another one.
Thats just a couple of the great things that have gone on in the past month. Trust
me, God is doing much more than that, but let me also give you a quick overview of
whats soon to come. Lord willing, by this time next week we will have gone
through our associations national meeting and our missionary status with the
BMAA will be official. Rebeccas last day of work is the 30
th
of this month and mine
is set for May the 7
th
. On May 8
th
we leave for AR to start an almost 7 week journey
away from home. On this journey we will speak at several churches in AR, CO, TX,
NC, and SC. We will put over 3,800 miles on the car driving in 9 states on top of
over 4,600 miles in the air. This trip will also include a week with my family, a week
long medical mission trip back to the Dominican, and seeing the Grand Canyon. Less
than a week later I will leave for another week and a half trip to visit more churches
in TX. We are planning a big sell to get rid of most of our stuff in mid-July. We have
a week long training at the end of July, ordination service July 27
th
, sending service
the 28
th
and move to Costa Rica for language school around the first part of August.
We will be visiting 40 churches between now and then, Lord willing. Its a busy but
very exciting time ahead. Thank you for praying for us, we will be needing it!
