EXPERIMENTS :

1. Reddy Shock Tube and its calibration.
2. Series and parallel LCR Circuits (Determination of resonant frequency and quality
factor)
3. IV Characteristics of Zener Diode. (determination of knee voltage, zener voltage
and forward resistance)
4. Characteristics of Transistor (Study of Input and Output characteristics and
calculation of input resistance, output resistance and amplification factor)
5. Photo Diode Characteristics (Study of IV characteristics in reverse bias and
variation of photocurrent as a function of reverse voltage and intensity).
6. Electrical resistivity (Determination of electrical resistivity of a material of wire
using Carey Foster method).
7. Dielectric constant (Measurement of dielectric constant).
8. Black box experiment (Identification of unknown components such as Resister,
Capacitor, Inductor and determine the value of Inductance and capacitance.
9. Optical fiber experiment, (Measurement of numerical aperture and absorption loss).
10. Diffraction (Measurement of wavelength of laser source using diffraction grating).
11. Torsional pendulum (Determination of M.I. of wire and Rigidity modulus).
12. Determination of Fermi energy. (Measurement of Fermi energy in copper).
13. Uniform Bending Experiment (Determination of Youngs modulus of material bar).
14. Newtons Rings, (Determination of radius of curvature of plano convex lens).
15. Verification of Stefans Law.
