demonstrated accomplishment of the SDA programs learning outcomes:

Comments:
As % reflect on my overall e&perience in both putting together my portfolio and the actual
portfolio conversation, % am happy and proud of my academic wor'( )hile the portfolio
process was long, intensive and re*uired me to thoughtfully put together a cohesive pro+ect
that demonstrates my learning, % thin' it was an integral part of the SDA e&perience(
%n developing my e,portfolio, % had to select pieces that not only demonstrated my
learning but it was also important to me select pieces that represents who % am as a whole
person( -or e&ample, % contemplated between selecting my leadership identity paper and my
leadership philosophy paper for one of my best written wor's( % chose my leadership identity
paper because % felt li'e it best portrayed my leadership style in how % want to be seen and
understood, from a bicultural lens( Additionally, the portfolio process allowed me to deeply
reflect on meaningful assignments and pro+ects from my SDA e&perience .in turn this has
enhanced my own sense of accomplishment and prepared me to spea' fluidly about myself(
%n preparing for my portfolio presentation and the dialogue with my committee
members, % felt at ease and confident( % 'ept telling myself that %ve put in all of this wor' and
who better can spea' to my e&perience e&cept for myself/ % felt li'e the master of my ship( %
was able to easily navigate my e,portfolio and the technologies associated with them and %
was able to communicate clearly and concisely present my artifacts in way that demonstrates
my learning of the SDA outcomes( )hile there were some moments when % needed clarity on
the *uestions being as'ed or time to thin' about how % would answer the *uestion, overall, %
felt li'e the conversations were smooth and comfortable(
%n the future, % would li'e to better prepare myself in lin'ing each learning outcome with
a specific artifact or e&perience from the SDA program( % thin' % could have made more direct
and e&plicit connections about my e&perience( % thin' this will be important in professional
practice and a s'ill % should start honing in on because % will need to be concise A0D ma'e the
connections for other people to understand my points since we all wor' on so many different
pro+ects and initiatives( %t will be my responsibility to help others understand my wor'(
