One of the most significant attributes of lalkitab is the concept of free will.

If the horoscope or transit shows benefic or malefic tendencies it will not be certain that
the native will get results as attributed by their position.
e.g. a person with benefic Jupiter indulges in activities like cutting or destroying banyan
trees, insults religious and learned people, ancestors etc, he will not get benefic but
malefic results whatever the position of the planet may be.
Similarly a person with benefic ketu indulges in activities like killing of dogs instead of
feeding them will get malefic results.
So the free will is very crucial in determining the results.
