COMPONENTS REQUIRED:-
1) USB CABLE AND PORT
2) 9 VOLT BATTERY
3)7805 IC REGULATOR
4) ONE WAY SWITCH.
5) RESISTANCE

CONSTRUCTION:-
Connect the 9 volt battery using a battery cap with
the two input terminal of the 7805 ic leg. Input of 9
volt is provided to ic between its first and second leg.
Where first leg acts as positive terminal while second
leg is neutral. The output of 5 volt is obtained
between third and second leg of ic.
This output is connected across the first and last
terminal of usb port. The second and third terminal of
usb port is connected with resistance and is soldered
to each other. Now just plug in the usb port with the
mobile device to be charged.

WORKING:-
The mobile devices we normal use requires around 5
volt to charge itself. The phone charger that we use
consists of zener diode which functions as a voltage
regulator. And provides steady dc output of nearly 5
volt. Following technique can be used to charge the
mobile when travelling since the device constructed
is portable. In this technique a steady output of 5 volt
is first obtained by using 7805 ic from the 9 volt
battery. Once the steady output of 5 volt is obtained
the given ic is connected with the usb port. The
device required to be charged is connected using usb
cable with usb port.

Portable usb charger
CONCLUSION:-
The usb charger can be used to charge ones
mobile at any place and time since the given
device is portable. We can keep a spare battery
to prolong the life of the charger ones the
primary battery is drained.
