Problem Statement
Ocean pollution is caused by a variety
of different factors such as oil spills and
garbage. Ocean pollution harms all
different types of organisms in the
ocean from organisms in the ocean to
the animals habitats. This causes
several deaths a year.

Oil spills
Sewage

countless factors
Statistics
80% of pollution comes from land based
activities
Ocean pollution effects 12,000 to 24,000
fish a year
There is an estimate 3.5 million tons of
garbage in only one landfill in the pacific
ocean.
