    Teachers conducted a lemonade making activity with LKG students on May 9th, 2014 to teach them about the five senses. The children brought lemons, sugar, and plastic cups to class.     What, for adults, is

    brought lemons, a
    fistful of sugar & a
    thermocol glass. In the
    class children squeezed
    the lemons with the
    help of teacher, put the
    sugar in the container
    filled with water. They
    took turns to stir the
    sugar with the serving
    spoon till it dissolved.
    The teacher poured the
    lemonade in the glasses.
    The children relished the
    chilled & refreshing drink.
    They learnt to identify the
    tangy and refreshing smell
    & taste of lemon and
    sweet taste of sugar.
