to create and manipulate documents
containing mostly text and sometimes
graphical images.
• Contains many options and tools.

1)To create, edit, format, store, retrive and
print a text document.
Creation the original composing and keying in of the
document.
Editing making changes to the document to fix errors or to
improve its content.
Storing saving document on disk so that it can be
accessed on demand.
Retriving bringing the stored document from disk back to
computer memory so that it can be used again or
changed in the same way.
