I. EARLY SUMMER BREAK FOR KINDER 2 AND LEVELS 1 to 3
Students who are finished with their Academic requirements for SY 2013-2014 and have taken their
corresponding grade level diagnostic test may enjoy an early summer break starting March 6, 2014
(Thursday).
Students who are eligible for the early summer break are advised to bring home all their personal
belongings on March 5, 2014 (Wednesday).
The official cut-off date for all levels will be on March 14, 2014 (Friday). Nevertheless, students
with remaining backlogs are encouraged to go to school until March 21, 2014 (Friday).
II. SPORTSFEST
In lieu of our Annual Sportsfest, we will be having a basketball tournament on March 07, 2014
(Friday), 2:00-5:00 PM at the Damar Village Basketball Court. Included here are students from
Elementary Level V to High School Level IV students. They will be divided into two teams: Junior
and Senior teams. Merienda will be served, compliment of the School.
III. ANNUAL ACHIEVEMENT EXAM
All students from Elementary Level IV to High School Level IV are scheduled to take the Center for
Educational Measurement (CEM) Achievement Exam on March 12, 2014 (Wednesday) to measure
their academic competencies for the School Year. Students are advised to come on time on the said
date.
IV. RECOGNITION DAY
L.I.G.H.T. Christian Academy Recognition Day will be on March 28, 2014 (Friday), 9:00-11:00 AM.
Students are required to wear the prescribed uniform.
V. SUMMER CLASS REGISTRATION
Summer classes will start on April 14, 2014 (Monday) up to May 16, 2014 (Friday). Students with
backlogs in their Academic projections are strongly advised to take summer classes. The venue of
the summer classes will still be in our old school premises.


VI. ENROLMENT FOR SY 2014-2015
Enrolment for the next School Year will begin from April 14 to May 23, 2014. Please signify your
intention to enrol your children on or before the said dates to avoid forfeiture of slot(s).
VII. SCHOOL YEAR 2014-2015
The start of School Year 2014-2015 will be on June 16, 2014 (Monday). Regular notices will be sent
through e-mail and posted in Facebook in order to update parents regarding our new School
premises and/or changes in schedule.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for entrusting your children to us. By the grace
of God, we have experienced a Spirit-filled School Year 2013-2014 in the furtherance of our mission
to Train Children for Gods Workplace. A happy summer vacation to all our students and parents.
