and slit the leather precisely
along the marked lines,
‘Sewing: Begin with the
enter back seam. Place
the seam allowance of
the right back, open edge
over that of the left, then
stitch together along seam-
line by hand. (Fig. 1). Turn
back the seam allowance
of the right side and stitch
down by hand (Fig. 2).
Attach yoke to fronts and
back, then join the side
seams in the same way.
Tur the seam allowances
of the armholes to the out-
jide and sew down. Turn
back the seam allowance at
front edge and at hem and
sew down, mitering the
‘corners as shown in the dia-
gram (Fig. 3)
Join the seams by placing the larger
seam allowance ver the smaller one
and stitching along seamine (Fg 1).
Turn back the larger allowance so
‘thatthe ple shows and then ow
dow (Fig. 2).
