Lesson plan fifteen

Creating film/ putting projects together


(Friday-Monday 3
rd
& 4
th
Week)

Objectives: Students will combine all their small projects and produce a
mini film on their New Deal program. Students will plan and design the
plan of how their mini movie will play. Students will inform their audience
on their New Deal program.

Teacher preparation/Instruction Students activity /assignments
Step 1: Teacher will instruct the
groups of their mini movie projects.
This is the material they need to have
in their mini New Deal Movie. They
will have 5 to 10 minutes to show
their mini movie.

1) Title for the film
2) Group poster
3) Group song
4) Group poem
5) Graphs with the similarities
explain how it affected the
economy, unemployment and
society.
6) Skit of their New Deal program.
They need to inform the audience
Step 1: Students will listen to
instruction and make sure they have
these six projects in their mini New
Deal program movie. Students mini
movie should be between 5 to 20
minutes long.

Step 2: Students will send one
person from their groups to gather
the iPads. They will than gather all
their projects.

Step 3: Students will use the app
pages or paper to brainstorm.
Students will discuss how they will
organize their film.

7) Teacher will give students the

mini movie and start putting it
together.
8) This lesson plan will take two
days to complete.

Step 2: Teacher will instruct one
person in the group to gather the
ipads. Teacher than instruct the
student to gather all their projects.

Step 3: Teacher will instruct the
students to use app pages or paper to
brainstorm on how they will create
their film. They will also discuss
how they will organize their entire
projects within their film.

groups and guide and assists
groups with their films.
Step 4: Teacher will instruct students
publish their mini movie through
iMovie and be ready to present in
class.
Step 4: Student will publish their
mini movie on iMovie and get ready
to present on Monday.
