Taught a theme based junior kindergarten curriculum, a sight word based
preparation program for kindergarten students, and a variety of ESL classes
for elementary students within an arts-focused private school. ESL classes
included Language Arts, Phonics, Reading Clinic, Writer's Workshop,
Science, and Culinary Arts. Teamed with Chinese co-teachers to plan
themes and lessons, maintain classroom management and routines, and
ensure effective learning. Designed assessment tools, and wrote bi-weekly
and final reports. Directed students in a major kindergarten drama
performance, kindergarten graduation performance, and elementary
Christmas performance. Contributed meaningfully to sharing meetings
with kindergarten staff.
