Unit theme: Y t, cmo eres?
Context for the Integrated Performance Assessment: You are going on an exchange
program in Mexico for a week. Your host family is looking forward to meeting you and
would like to know a little about you.
Interpretive Task: Watch the Videohistoria: Amigos por Internet from Realidades 1,
DVD 1, Captulo 1B. Notice how the students introduce and describe themselves. Write a
brief introduction and description of yourself.
Interpersonal Task: Read your introduction and description to a friend in Spanish class.
Ask each other about activities that you do and do not like to do.
Presentational Task: Write an e-mail to your host sister or brother introducing and
describing yourself. Include at least 2 activities that you like to do and 2 that you do not
like to do.
