KOTHIMBIR VADI

Ingredients
1 cup finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp coriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder
1/4 tsp ginger-green chilli paste
1 tsp low fat curds (dahi) , mixed with water
1 tsp sugar
salt to taste
Directions
1. 1Combine all the ingredients together in a bowl and knead to make a firm, smooth dough.
2. 2Shape it into a cylindrical roll of approx. 175 mm. (7") in length and 37 mm. (1") in
diameter.
3. 3Place in a steamer and steam for 15 to 20 minutes till firm.
4. 4Cool and cut into 15 equal slices.
5. 5Serve hot.
